I bought the humidifier having read good reviews on Amazon. It worked really well taking the humidity in the air in my daughters bedroom right down. I used it for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening until after the 4th day it wouldn't turn on.

Very impressed with the amount of water/condensation this item collects .Has made a huge difference to our north facing bedroom.we switch this on first thing on a morning then switch off when we go to bed as its too noisy to sleep with it on.Its solved our problem and i would highly recomend this item.

Overall it worked fine and there was much less condensation collecting on the bedroom windows. But it only worked for 2 months; it stopped turning on for the new year.I can see that it has not burned out - the orange light indicating that the tank is full lights up. But even when the tank is emptied and put back in place, it does not begin to collect moisture again. Neither noise nor result is visible.

My kitchen has an intermittent damp problem and can smell musty, and someone suggested using a dehumidifier to keep it under control. This is a mid-price, small device, light and easily portable, and it does the trick. It’s about as noisy as a fan heater so I switch it on generally at night and in the morning there’s a small reservoir of water to empty.

Had this running for a few weeks now. It's quick and easy to set up and maintain, and this device is sucking an average of 5 litres a week out of the air in a very small bedroom. It doesn't do it as quickly as I'd thought it would, but it's pretty consistent at that pace.The only downside is that it is noisy. The sound is equivalent to having a bladed oscillating fan running. I'm someone that uses white noise to help me sleep so it doesn't disturb me, but if you couldn't sleep with a fan running in the room, you couldn't sleep with this.For the price, however, and the size, it's a banging little dehumidifier which I would highly recommend.
