Completely crushable and packable. Can be reasonably reshaped. Still working to keep the brim “perfectly” shaped, but there’s a tiny wire in the end that helps. Sides can be rolled up a bit, front can be dipped down a bit. Could be closer to a cowboy hat or a fedora, depending on how you shape it. Lightweight. I have a GIANT head, size 8, and the XXL fits perfectly. The draw string isn’t for me but some might like it. I easily removed by just untying it. This hat will be in every bag I pack until it falls apart…then I’ll buy another one.

Bought this for walking, shopping and anytime I want a 'nicer' sun hat. Very comfortable, and it's one of very few hats my wife likes! Wish it had an adjustment as this is just a tiny bit large, and the next smaller size was too small.

I was headed for Denver and did not have a good hat for their sun. (don't like to wear hat in plane as might forget). This hat has a big brim all around. Used the measurement guide to choose size and it fits perfectly. No surprise the hat protects well from the Denver sun.and the regular afternoon showers,

Several years ago my husband purchased the Coolibar Galileo hat, and liked the quality and sturdiness of the material so much that we purchased another to replace it. Unfortunately, the hat arrived extremely crushed and wrinkled, and is made using a much lighter material which affects the quality and sturdiness. Very disappointing.
