TaosFootwear Unisex Convertawool Wool Clog

I needed some shoes to wear around the house. I have terrible issues with my feet and fallen arches. I have some of the clogs in this brand and I love the support that they give me, but I don’t like how heavy they are and that there’s no back. I wear them to take the dog out or get the mail, but I didn’t really want to get a pair of those for inside because they’re so heavy and I have to hang onto them with my foot since there’s no back.Anyway I saw these and I decided to try them. The fit is perfect Just like the clogs. I wear a size 9 and I got the size that they recommended which was 40, and it fits exactly as it should. It says it’s convertible so I’m assuming you can fold the back portion down and it would be a clog. I’m not sure how feasible that is I tried it and wasn’t super impressed I think you would have to put the little flap under the insoles to actually wear them that way. Anyway, these fit my feet perfectly there not too loose and not too tight and a little piece on the back is just enough to keep them on my foot instead of flying off.Compared to the clogs these have slightly different pitch. The clogs have a little bit more of a heel so your foot is positioned slightly different. I think I prefer that for the support that it gives my particular feet, but these do a reasonably good job, Even though there is no lift to the heel.These shoes have the same arch insole that the clogs have. I needed some thing with a high arch and these shoes seem to have that. Some people might not like it, but if you also have a high arch, these are perfect.I also think that they’re cute enough to wear outside, but I am going to wear them inside. I picked the darker leopard because I thought it would hold up better overtime.I know these are super expensive, but my feet are important and I feel like I need to invest more in footwear that gives me proper support.Thanks for reading my review

Love the brand…have several boots and shoes….these were just too wide!

I'm a TAOS Company fan & had been wanting to test drive these Wool Slippers. They are very comfortable, no matter the temperature. As always, not disappointed in Taos.

Bought early fall and wear daily but look very worn out 3 months later. Will not get more than a season from them. I was wanting more foot padding.Fine for first few weeks but after a month or two nothing left.Toe box did leave room for my hammer toe which is a constant problem.Too expensive for one season. Will be looking for other wool shoes.

I the Convertawool slipper in Olive for myself for Christmas. I had been searching for an inside shoe to wear around the house. I need arch support to keep plantar fasciitis at bay and these shoes do the trick. I have a narrow foot so wearing a sock helps to keep them on better but I will probably wear them without socks when it gets warm. Overall they are a great purchase and I am happy with them. PS....they do keep your feet warm also.

Warm without being hot , as a year round flip flop wearer , these fit with no pressure on my bunions. I like that they are versatile for a heel or no heel ( clog ). Just what I needed for when I do need a shoe. Took me several tries with shoes and even the taos brand to find a pair that worked for me..

Very comfortable. Look cute. Wear great. Cozy! Buying more.

Exactly as expected size and warmth! Perfect winter slipper. I wear them all day, great arch support which helps my back while doing housework and errands.
