Great value and a nice product. The switch mechanism can be a little fussy. You have to be patient on occasion for it to take the temperature you require and also to keep temperature pre use. But. look good and boils very quickly!

Bought as a temporary kettle. It’s one of the cheaper variable temperature Kettles, and it shows. it feels light and plastic, and the design of it is too. The lid needs to be completely removed, rather than being a flip-top, but that’s just down to your preference. But it does what you expect. The dial, that sets the temperature, is easy to use. Fill the kettle with water, rotate the dial and press the same dial to heat. The is an display on the side that shows the temperature. I’m not sure I’d like this an everyday kettle, but it’s good enough for my purpose. It seems smaller, the thermostats is dubious (but good enough) but it doesn’t hold the heat as my old kettle did. ….only time will say if it lasts long enough to be awarded an extra star… A WEEK LATER: it can be a pain to turn on. the switch doesn’t always work. You select the temperature, and press it, but nothing… repeat several times until it starts heating. MONTH LATER: I went away for a few days, and it no longer works. All of the electrics continue to work, but the kettle never heats (at all). Will be returning and looking for another…

This item is amazing. It looks really expensive too. The water can be boiled to a required temperature which is great as I can use it to make up my grandsons bottle to the correct temperature so not waiting for it to cool. Would highly recommend.

This kettle is fine for boiling etc but if you boil the water more than once it tastes metallic. It does stay a cool wall as described and the water stays hot for quite a long time. As I drink boiled water I’ve had to buy another kettle as the taste is disgusting. It’s not noticeable when drinking tea or coffee. For a cheap kettle it’s ok.

I bought this kettle as a coffee lover who often brews at home. It worked well and I appreciated the temperature controls that move up and down in 10 degree intervals from 40-100°C. I've had this for almost 2 years and have come home from work to find it not working. The display still functions and I can adjust the desired temperature but it now isn't boiling/heating the water.

Never heard of Aigostar before, but what a great kettle. Just touch the button and it comes on with bleep. You can either set the temperature for the kettle to switch off (2 beeps when it turns off), or watch the digital temperature display rise and lift the kettle off its base when you've reached your chosen temperature. 10 out of 10 for looks, build and price - I can see this kettle out lasting all my other kettle i've had in the past. In the past i've had 3 Murphy Richard kettles, but found on all of them the lids become loose and break after 2 years, on another brand the switch breaks off.

We bought this kettle on 12 Dec 23 and it started to leak from the transparent measuring bar on 11 March 24. The product functions are the best since it keeps the water inside warm if you want to. And it is perfectly doing so. In general, it does what it claims. However, It lasts only 3 months and it has become a very dangerous hazard in the house. In its sales terms, if wanted, we needed to return it by the end of Jan 24. So, the return or replacement in our case was not an option through Amazon. So, we contacted the manufacturer as stated in Amazon. The reply was to claim through Amazon. It is like a chicken and egg story. Our experience shows that the kettle is not technically capable of performing that "keep warm" function in the long term and therefore, it is a very dangerous electric hazard in the house. Luckily, we notice all these on time. However, we lost money and it created a big inconvenience for us.

Looks fantastic and high quality, but there are two main problems: - quite often it pauses well before boiling for about 3 minutes, after which it will continue to boil the water. - unlike the last kettle (russell hobbs with same wattage) we had there is massive limescale buildup which is about impossible to remove. Seems to be due to how the heating element is build in to the bottom.
