BEAST QUEST: VETRIX THE POISON DRAGON

Another big hit!
Another big hit! It was hard to get any sense out of my 8-year-old son after he'd raced through reading this in a single sitting, other than that he NEEDED series 19 book 4 and that it was of the utmost importance that he finishes the series.I don't want to be a snob about anything that encourages my son to read. He loves Beast Quest, loves to collect them and after a year or two shows no sign of losing interest, so frankly we'll keep buying them and borrowing them from the library as often as we can, because there's nothing to sniff at when an 8-year-old loves books so passionately.

Great
My nephew hated books and hated reading, all he ever wanted to do was play fifa on his xbox and i could not get him to read a book for love nor money until i stumbled across Ferno the fire dragon in waterstones and the rest as they say is history.I would sit in bed and read them with him when he was much younger and then he would read them to me, only asking about hard words and what they meant. These books are short, well illustrated and more importantly have the ability to engage reluctant readers. If i could give them 10 stars i would!

Vetrix
My six year old daughter has enjoyed this - the third book in the series. This is another adventure with Tom and Elenna. If your child is into wizards, dragons and adventures - then this is the series for them!It is written at a good pace and is excellent for inspiring and imagination.Would recommend.

A consistently excellent series
Great book for primary school kids- the text expertly moves on reading skills and is nicely orientated to boys in particular, who do respond to it enthusiastically and get hooked. Brilliant illustrations too. A consistently excellent series in fact, of which this a fine addition. Can't go wrong.

Another Beast Quest hit
Beast Quest books are great for ensuring that young boys especially stay engaged with the process of reading. This new series is all about dragons, so is sure to be another hit. My nephew loves them. They have great black and white illustrations and are thoroughly absorbing for young fans.
