In this second book of the series, we get to meet Brian's family. It is a rather 'interesting' family dynamic. What is different about his parent's house than most houses? What about his parents? I had to laugh at some of the things we read about in there. This is once again another very erotic book in the series, lots of sex, lots of open talking about things relating to sex. A decent plot line that continues and brings in Brian's younger brother Jimmy to the scene with us. The bombshell that is dropped on Victoria is rather huge and interesting. Definitely leaves us off with a bit of a cliff hanger for the book, but definitely worth it and making you want to realize how much you ned to get to the third book of the series to find out what happens. Who is Caroline? What is happening with Rob? How are Rob and Brian handling things? What is going on with Victoria? These are all questions that can be answered while reading the book.

Friends with Full Benefits was definitely an interesting read. It picked up where the first book left off which was great. It gave us some of what we were missing before the first ending. I loved the first half of the book. It had great comedy; especially when Rob eventually finds out about Jillian and Brian.It was evident from the beginning that the book would have a different twist added to it. Although I loved the progression of Victoria's character and the introduction to Jim (Brian's brother), I felt the story became too jumbled. The beginning focuses on Brian and Jillian's relationship and how they broke the news to his parents and her son, but quickly became too focused on Victoria and her struggle to battle her own emotions of love and sex. It was a great story all on its own, but found the sporadic individual chapters featuring Brian and Jillian or Rob going on a job interview was distracting and confusing to add in with the ongoing Jim and Victoria plot.Despite the minor hiccups, I felt the general plot was developed well and the story gave the readers everything; comedy, drama, sex, and a nice twist ending.

This is the second book of the series. Jillian wants to break the news to Rob about her relationship with Brian. She is not sure how to tell him and how he will react to it. Brian wants to take Jillian home to meet his parents and brother. Brian's parents are not very welcoming and bit loony. They decide to take a side trip to Atlantic City to get away from them for a day. Brian's brother Jim goes along with them. He has good luck in the casino and meets a girl named Caroline. They learn a secret about the Brian's parents that sends them back to Miami. Jim goes home with them and he meets Jillian's best friend Victoria. How will they get along? How will Rob find out the news about his mom's relationship with Brian and how will he react?I enjoy this series because you don't know what will happen next. I had to read the whole series before I took time to do reviews. It was just that good.

I looked for Top Rated Books on Amazon.com and came across "Friends with Partial Benefits". I was surprised with how hot and steamy the book got. I was actually pleasantly surprised. Since reading the first book in the series, I have continued with the series, and I really do enjoy them! I would recommend them to someone who is looking for a funny and sexy easy read. For those of you looking for romance, I found the second book to be more romantic. I wasn't sure entirely what the book would entail, but I really enjoyed the characters and how they complimented each other. Typically, I'd say the stereotype is that women write romance novels and about sex. I was really intrigued and excited to see that a man wrote the series! I am hooked on the series and really enjoyed reading a genre that was new to me. It wasn't overpoweringly romantic, but it was funny and sexy. I don't think I've ever read anything quite like that series before. In many books, they end the chapter with, "They kissed and headed to the bedroom." As a writer, Luke Young takes us INTO the bedroom. If you love romantic fiction you'll love this. If you haven't tried erotic/romantic fiction before, give this a shot. I guarantee you'll want to get in touch with your sensual side! Happy Reading.

I was surprised I liked this. The first chapter or so had me wondering if I would finish the book, as it seemed more juvenile than I prefer, but I gave it a chance and the story evolved quickly enough, as well as the characters and kind of explained away the reason I wasn't feeling it in the beginning. Then it really started to get my attention. It was equal parts point of view from him and her which I really like. The humor was great and the characters were realistically flawed and I was enjoying the secondary characters as much as the main ones. I'm glad I stuck with it and gave the author a chance, since it wasn't writing style or story line that turned me off in the beginning, just personal taste, so I'm glad I tried to be fair because the rest of the book was great. So much so I went to Amazon and got the first one in the series. So glad I did. Fun series, hilarious and sexy characters (which, if you think about it, is not an easy thing to pull off), and just enough of the taboo to make it delicious.

Friends Friends and Friends I loved it!!!!! I laughed out loud on this book I went for the entire SERIES!!. What a fun read. Luke Young has won me over. If you ever felt depressed this series is for you. I read book one , two, three and four. Which can stand alone However, I promise once you read the first book you will go on to 2, 3, 4 and 5 what fun they are to read. I read all 4 before I could even stop to write this review and I am waiting for book 5. If it were out I would be reading right now and not writing this lol. If you ever had a girlfriend who thought she knew it all and done it all when it came to SEX well then you know Victoria NOT!!! lol You have to meet her she is such fun and you just might learn a thing or two from her and the best friend Jillian. Maybe you would like to meet the funny boys from college Rob and Brian. Don't pass up this book(s) or the series it is so worth the time and money, I will read this over and over.

Read books 1and 2 and must say I found them a easy holiday read. The benefits don't seem to far fetched, obviously everyone involved is perfect in every way with a envious lifestyle where no one has to work for a living. The sexual bits by today's standards are descriptive without being hard porn and the underlying relationship between the couple seems one of strong feelings for each other. Their friend seems to have tried everything sexually and as a good friend is prepared to help and advise them push their experiences together further. To save you flicking through the pages that's the main sexy bits if it helps!

absolutely great read all the characters are great laugh out loud can't get enough of them Victoria the best wished I had a friend like her . you just can't stop laughing can't put the book down want more this must of been written by a woman don't think Luke young is the real name of the author

A book, whatever the subject matter, should grab you by the lower band and take you on a ride you'll be immersed in, entertained, educated and not want to put down...this, and he other books in the series are such books...please keep going with the series...

I found this to be an "interesting" read but could put the book down and go back to it. It had some witty comical bits which made me laugh, but you do need to read the whole of the 4 books to follow the people and what happens to them

The second in the series is an entertaining read, although there are some cringe-worthy bits in the book. This is the 'tamer' version of the series, but it is still a book with a reasonable amount of sex in it
