Perfect for office
I like the design. Engineers like to find out why it is floating. There can be twisting motion when accidentally knocked on, but it is ok as long as one does not place breakables in the top shelf.

More stable than it looks like it would be
Seriously easy to assemble. I didn't understand how it worked until I was putting it together. It creaks a bit as you are tightening the reverse tension cable, but none of the other four were to a point I was scared they would snap. Surprisingly sturdy when all assembled and tightened. Only gripe I would have is that one of the rubber foot pads didn't have any adhesive, so I had to make do with my own glue. Expensive for a speaker shelf, but you are usually going to pay more for stylistic shelving anyway.

Would have been 5 ⭐️ but, …
I’m overall pleased with these speaker stands. The assembly instructions were good and everything went together well. It was all good until I discovered that one of the ‘threaded’ barrels was NOT threaded.Fortunately, I had a metric tap and die set to fix the problem. I expect very few buyers would have something like that on hand, which would necessitate a return to Amazon.Things like this happen, but it was still irritating.

Physics is Fun!
Super cool. I use mine in my small living room as a coffee table. It looks pretty dang cool and works as a conversation piece too. I like that it has a raised rim that helps keep stuff from sliding or rolling off.

Good Value
These may not be for everyone but I like how they look. Needed something for a pair of small tower speakers I use for rear surrounds. Not an audiophile’s stand but good for my needs. Did I mention they look cool? Not bad!

Simpler Than Expected
I Was Skeptical Because Of Some Previous Reviews But It Wasnt Hard To Put Together And Is Working Perfect. Just Don’t Over-Tighten The Middle Wire, They Will Click When They Get Tightened.

Visually appealing
One of the inserts in the top board was not threaded, so one of the screws that attach the support bar would not go in. Fortunately, I have an M5 tap in my toolbox so it was a simple matter to cut the threads that should have been there in the first place and continue with the assembly. But, minus two points for quality control. The top and bottom plates are made of particle board. This is not surprising in low-cost furniture, but it would not have cost very much more to make them out of either 1 x 12 pine, or maybe good quality plywood. Either one would be better better able to withstand the bending forces from the corner wires, giving the product a longer life. All that being said, the product is visually striking, it is very easy to assemble, and it is sure to catch the eye of anyone who sees it.
