Nice case! Leather. I usually just throw my GR3 in my pocket, but if I put it in the truck, or if I'm going somewhere, I pop it into the case for more protection. Something to note is that the flap doesn't close totally flat against the lens but does afford protection from bumps. It's slightly magnetic so stays closed. I guess if you fiddled with it you could get it flat but I don't bother.
