its bounce is unpredictable. I use it to train Goal Keepers .Kicking,or rolling it to them and they have to react.I also have my youth teams play games w it ,such as basketball or handball,soccer or make it a mixture of the 3 games w my own rules.Its fun

Soccer reaction ball for a 16 yr old girl. Is there a particular size or type recommended? She wants for a birthday present?

I think there is only one size. If not then the one that you can grab and throw w one hand. My soccer teams love it, playing catch and kick,throw and run. the goalie loves it also when taking shots w it. Unpredictability helps the team w anticipating the next move. The picture on the left looks like the one i purchased.
