It doesn't seem to fit quite as tightly as the Yeti lid, but it does fit well and it does stop the splashing.Update - 20Jul16 - even though it is not a screw on lid, I've found if I push down on the lid and give it a twist, the lid will seal down tighter on to the cup.

I purchased this product to replace my Yeti Rambler 20 lid so that I could hopefully reduce some spillage from the cup during my morning commute. I like to carry my coffee thermos in my backpack to/from the train and office. When I opened the package, I was disappointed to see that the slide was very loose. So loose that it wouldn't actually stay closed all the way. Without it staying close the whole way it was really useless to me. It is possible that I got a one-off product with a defect, but I will be returning this item.On a positive note, the fit on the Yeti Rambler 20 did feel tight and I don't think there would be any leakage around the rim if tipped.

I bought this for my Yeti 20 oz. tumbler, but then discovered that it also fit my 10 oz. Yeti tumbler. It is very well made, and of Yeti quality. It seems to be made of the same material as Yeti original products. The slide has a very positive feel, and clicks into place. When open, a straw fits easily through the opening, or it can be used for sipping directly such as coffee, etc. If turned upside-down, it is not totally drip proof, but stays on very well. It was gone through the top shelf dishwasher a few times with no ill effects. I think this is a great aftermarket lid.

The lid for my 20oz works as advertised. Once you put on the lid and it seals it won't leak.When you put hot liquids in your cup leave slide open then close because it needs to seal 1st or lid won't go down all the way.This is not to say you can't make it leak but it takes a lot. I tested it initially by using water turning upside down and shaking, eventually I got it to spill some water. The lid works great and will keep you from making a mess in your car.I want one for my 32 oz cup now.

Helps keep my coffee hot for 24 hours or my tea cold for 24 hours. Received a cup for a gift but the lid did not have the slide close feature. This was the fix I needed for the cup to work as intended.

I wish Amazon would truly offer an exchange instead of a return. This is the second lid I have purchase from this company, the first lid is still working great. The slide on this lid is very loose and does not stay closed or open depending on the tilt of the tumbler. The lid is very secure on my ozark trail tumbler, the slide on the top just doesn't fit correctly.

I purchased this in order to have a way to close the Yeti 20 oz tumbler. It does the job as long as you keep in mind that it is "splash resistant" (the key word is "resistant"), and not spill-proof. The opening is shaped to accomodate a straw (hence the "bump" in the middle). I recommend this product.

This is the lid that Yeti should offer themselves. The design is simple, yet functional. The sliding cover works well with hot drinks (closes and remains closed, opens and remains open), but becomes much more loose with cold drinks and easily slides shut when you go to take a drink. Other than that, this lid works great.
