Freshest Pure Seed Mix I've Purchased
I've cycled through a lot of bird seeds before and this mix is by far the freshest seed I have purchased. Immediately upon opening it your hit with a very strong seed odor that I've only ever experienced in a couple other (much more expensive) brands. Whatever the smell is, my bird absolutely loves it and eats this seed readily. I like that this is a pure seed mix with no pellets, and it makes a great supplementary treat for my bird. Because of how fragrant it is, it also works great for foraging and brain toys as my bird can smell it through toilet paper rolls and other foraging debris. As a daily feed, I wouldn't recommend this mix as it has a lot of sunflower seeds, but as a treat mix this is a fantastic product at a great value. As a bonus: The bag is resealable!

Wish this were still available in the US, tariff taxes prohibited buying and price for other bird food more than double in certain case.

Great Value and Loved by My Cockatiels!
I’ve been using the Hagen Cockatiel Staple Seed for a while, and it’s been a fantastic value for the price. My cockatiels absolutely love it, and I mix it with Roudybush Daily Maintenance Crumbles to ensure they get a balanced diet. What’s even more exciting is that it’s been a game-changer for my very frightened and untamed rescue bird, Bebe. Every time I fill the dish or scatter seed on their foraging tray, Bebe eagerly approaches, excited to eat the seed! This seed mix is high-quality, dust-free, and nutritionally balanced, making it the perfect choice for my birds. The 5-pound bag lasts a long time since cockatiels only eat 1-2 tablespoons a day. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to keep their cockatiels happy and healthy!

Hagen 'tiel Seed,👍, at 👍value
Fresh as always with Hagen brand. My 'tiei eats Sunflower seeds last, so glad there are not a substantial part of the bag. Have owned birds for years and augment all seed with fresh veg, fruit, tiny bits of my shared boiled egg and more. Hagen seeds form the base, as for many years.
