I should have discovered this sooner
The Lena cup was recommended to me by the quiz results from putacupinit.com Although the quiz recommended I get the Lena sensitive, I opted to go with this two pack so I don't have to worry about getting the wrong size. I got these at about 11 am and already on my first day. So after boiling them for 5 minutes (make sure you don't leave these unattended while boiling), I let them cool before using. It was 1 pm when I started to attempt to put the smaller cup in but was only successful 2 hours later and on my 7th attempt. I took breaks between each attempt. By 9 PM, I was having a weird feeling and turns out, the cup was full. So somehow, I think you'll know when it's full. I had no problems in taking it out probably because it was full and the blood provided a lot of lubrication. I decided to use the large cup for overnight use . I still used a pad in case I leaked and said a little prayer that the cup won't be lost while I slept (I am paranoid, yes). Morning came and I was super happy I didn't have any leaks. Again, no problems in taking it out but this is probably because t was my second day when my flow is heaviest. For some reason, I had a hard time putting the cup back in after cleaning and so I wore a pad and continued to attempt to use the cup. I was successful by midday. But please note that I was doing each attempt for 10 minutes or so and with long breaks in between (like maybe 30-45 minutes in between each attempt). If it wouldn't go in, I wasn't about to force the issue. I was also doing this in the shower space of my bathroom because I didn't want to boil it again in case I dropped it in the toilet. Good thing too, because I learned very quickly that the cup can be slippery when you take it out. I spilled the cup because I dropped it accidentally when I was taking it out the first time and it looked like a crime scene. So ladies, I definitely recommend doing this while you're in the shower. More research led me to thinking that a water-based lubricant might be helpful. I'm going to try this for my next period. But will definitely get the Lena sensitive cups in the event that the water-based lube doesn't help. So based on my experience, I can tell you that you DO NEED TO BE RELAXED for when you put the cup in. When you take it out, BEAR DOWN to make it easier for you to reach in and break the seal. The cup itself is firm and that was part of why it takes me at least 10 minutes to try inserting the cup in. The cups have a tendency to open prematurely especially when I used the punch down fold. To be fair, I think this is both because it is firm and probably because I had a weak grip on it. I had better luck when I used the triangle fold. Once inside, I didn't feel the Lena cup to the point that I almost forgot I was on my period. I mean I knew it was there in the back of my mind but it was really comfortable that I only had to be mindful of the 12 hour time period. I cut the stem of the smaller cup too short so I really have to bear down when taking it out but I didn't have an issue with the stem of the larger cup. I like that the cup seals perfectly and I didn't have a single leak. I also didn't have an issue with it not opening correctly inside so I think that's an advantage of firmer cups. TBH, I think the large cup is better for me during the first three days of my period and I will probably switch to the smaller cup for the remaining days. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I am definitely not going back to wearing pads and have been recommending period cups to my friends.

In a Few Words - Life Changing for Endo - Mega Flow Cycle!
In a Few Words - Life Changing for Endo - Mega Flow Cycle! This is an amazing cup (my first time using menstrual cups). I bought the dual set of Large and Small. I used only the large cup so far. I absolutely love it and love the customer service that the company gives. First of all, the company is so attentive, kind and very professional. The customer service alone wins you over. They are really interested in their customers. They gave excellent follow up to my questions as well as they stand behind their product. In this day and age of unscrupulous companies and tactics, you can't get any better than that with customer satisfaction. Second, the cup is the exact firmness that I needed since I have never had children, I have very strong pelvic floor muscles, I'm in my late 40's and of the two sizes the large was best for me since I have not a heavy but mega flow (I have Endometriosis which can cause heavy bleeding). Incidentally, even though I have the Mega flow, the cup seems to have shorten my cycle this month. It didnโt control the flow, but I went from 7 days to a 5 day cycle. Anyway, the learning curve for me was only about three insertions. The first time, I left the stem on and the cup was uncomfortable. The second time, I cut half the stem off and the cup was still uncomfortable for me. By the third time I inserted the cup and completely cut off the stem (Tip - make sure not to cut the stem too low so that you don't cut into the actual cup) it was perfection! As long as I was sure to insert the cup and push it up as far as it would go for me, I was comfortable. My cup sits low in the vagina; however, if I left it too low I could feel the grip rings. So, I always pushed the cup up farther until I could not really feel the grip rings, and it was mind blowing ease and comfort when it was placed right. I used the punch down fold and it worked every time with that particular fold. I once tried the 7 fold, and it simply didn't work for me. Since I have a mega flow, the first 2 days I had to change my cup every 2hrs 40 minutes (yes, I was in the house on those days, so I did time it exactly). I probably could have gotten 20 more minutes of time from the cup since it was only filled below the air holes. So, I will say, moving forward I need to change every 3 hours on my 2 heaviest days. This was better for me since normally I would use 2 overnight pads at the same time and change them every 1.5 hrs on my first 2 days. How many leaks did I have? I had NONE when I used the punch down fold. How is that possible with the Mega flow? It's because the cup is so well made and the firmness makes the cup pop open every single time. The only time I did have a leak is when I tried the 7 fold. It is not the fold for me; it made insertion difficult and I could feel the cup not opening completely. Also, I donโt believe that my cup created the seal, at least not most of the time. I say this because removal was a breeze. It was just as easy for me to remove as to insert. With that being said, for me whether the cup sealed or not, the cup worked for me every time without leaks (Also being a first time menstrual cup user, I paired it with a pad/panty liner). After my first day using the cup, I decided to try water based KY jelly for insertion and it worked even better. I actually got so comfortable using this cup that I was able to change it in a public restroom on my 3 day without one problem. I had everything with me, small water bottle, wet paper towel and non-latex gloves (Incidentally, I always use gloves when inserting and removing to prevent blood on my hands and to minimize chances of any kind of infection or bacteria on my bare hand even though I wash them first). If there was one thing I would like is, I wish I could get 4 hours out of the cup, because I have an event I attend weekly and need that time to be worry free until I get home. So, I guess if LENA had the Mega Flow cup (maybe 40 ml of capacity) it would make my cycle almost forgettable. All in all, the LENA cup is one of the best things Iโve ever done for my period.

Really like these, so much better than tampons
The last cup I used was the Diva Cup, which I mostly liked. I noticed after a while though that it was starting to smell funny and the clear silicone started discoloring (I cleaned it regularly and followed the instructions). I decided to try a new brand to see if they all do that after using them for a year or so, so I picked this one. The main things I like about these are 1) they're fun colors and 2) they're different sizes. I really like having the smaller cup for light days and the larger cup for heavier days. The larger one I find a little unwieldy and harder to get in and out (although not that much more so than the Diva Cup). The smaller one I think is much more manageable and is the one I primarily use except on heavy flow days. I also notice these ones leak less than the Diva Cup. I don't know if that's to do with the shape of the cup itself or what. The shape of the cup also makes it a little harder for me to get it out though (regardless of size). I've gotten used to it over time. and it's not so difficult that it would prevent me from buying this cup again, but I still found the Diva cup easier to get out. However, I've found this cup easier to keep clean and it doesn't seem to stain as much. Something I thought was interesting was the large version of this brand was only marginally larger than the smaller version of the Diva Cup. I will definitely not be trying the larger Diva Cup any time soon lol. So, all in all, I'll probably be sticking with this brand for a while. For anyone who has never used a menstrual cup before, you get used to it. I was super weirded out by it at first and didn't think I would like it, but I was tired of spending so much money on tampons and pads. Pads often give me a rash, but I have to wear them at night during my period and I needed a liner during the day (liners will also give me a rash... yay, me). My new routine involves one of the menstrual cups (usually the smaller one unless it's a heavy flow day) and period-proof underwear. It's a game changer. I don't have to worry about leaking, no matter what activity I'm doing (I really like yoga) or if I'm sleeping (I used to leak a lot at night). And I don't have to empty the cup nearly as often as I used to have to change a tampon, which I think is so convenient. I've had to empty it at work a few times on heavy days, which can get a little messy, but so can pads and tampons. And I save SO. MUCH. MONEY. It's more money up front to get the cups and period-proof underwear (they're not cheap, but I've seen more expensive undergarments at Victoria's Secret, so take that as you will). But once you have what you need you don't have to buy anything for a very long time as long as you take care of them properly. If you're thinking of switching, give yourself time to get used to it and try out different brands if the first one you try doesn't work for you. But everyone has their own preferred routine and everyone's body is different, so figure out what works best for you. I wasn't completely sold on a cup until after probably my third period using it. Now I will never go back to the old tampon and pad routine.

LOVE. Wish I did this sooner.
Not only one of my best purchases but one of my best life decisions to switch from tampons/pads to a menstrual cup. I never would have thought I would do this, but let me tell you, only good things came from this change. I have used it for 3 months now. I can see how there is the whole concept of figuring out how to get it just right in you. But honestly, I caught on pretty quick. I actually didn't read the directions on folding it because I wanted to try myself and then see, and it turns out the way I did it was one of the ways to insert it in yourself. I feel you know your body and you will know how to put it in and feel comfortable. Just be patient. I know there is no proof yet on the menstrual cup reducing cramps but mine have DRASTICALLY decreased. I don't know why but I'm so glad, and not complaining! I LOVE how it doesn't smell, I don't have to pay for tampons or pads, and I can wear it for 12 hours! I actually haven't used my bigger cup yet because I don't need too... and I really thought I would. I'm extremely shocked because I'm a heavy bleeder. But it's so different when your body collects, instead of absorbs. My only complaint is that I wish the 'tail' was longer. not trying to be gross but its a little slippery when taking it out and I wish I had more to work with. But other than that, it's great. Two suggestions: One, When you put the cup in and you kinda feel the cup in you but its in there correctly.... walk around for 5 minutes... that feeling goes away and then you don't feel it at all. At least for me that's how it works. Two, its super easy when putting it in when you take a shower. That is by far the easiest. And you help the planet on top of it all. Not gonna lie, my real reason for purchasing was to not buy tampons and pads. But my goodness, the decreasing of cramps and just not having to worry blows that way.

Lena is a great alternative to pads and tampons if you are comfortable with your body (and might be fracking magic)
As this was my first menstrual cup I waited a couple months to write this review to give a more accurate picture. TLDR: Lena is a great alternative to pads and tampons if you are comfortable with your body. For new cup users, be patient, it takes time to learn how to use a cup correctly. Long review: Not to get too graphic but I can equate my period to shark week or the red wedding (for your GOT fans) for a number of reasons. Because of this I was looking for an alternative to traditional pads and tampons. Between comfort, cost (roughly $12 per period for tampons and pads), and sheer horribleness of a period I wanted an alternative. I remembered years back (when I was younger and slightly more stupid) a friend mentioned a menstrual cup. I also remember the horrified look I gave her as she described it to me. Only after years of suffering, learning how to get blood out of just about everything, trying washable pads, and hearing my husband drop strategically placed hints (thank Reddit for his contribution) I decided to do some research. After numerous blog reviews, amazon reviews, reddit reviews, and more, I was overwhelmed. At one point I burst out laughing when one cup (not Lena) claimed it โreduced menstrual flowโ (are these things fracking magic?). Overall Lena seemed to get good reviews, customers raved about the customer service, size choice, and for some reason the phrase โmedical gradeโ silicone seemed to put my brain at ease. Keep in mind I still remained highly skeptical, after all, if these things are so amazing why havenโt I heard of them more often? Ordering: I ordered the two cup pack as I wasnโt sure what size I would prefer, Iโd never used one of these things before but it suggested a large cup for โheavyโ flow. The cups came in the mail fairly quickly. The packaged was pretty cute (like that really matters in the long run). I appreciated the โhave a better periodโ phrase instead of the โhave a great periodโ nonsense you read on tampon boxes (seriously, frack you tampon marketing departments). My first impression when pulling these out: โIโm supposed to stick this where???โ While the dimensions were clearly listed on amazon I guess it hadnโt really hit home how big these would be (I mean I have adult toys smaller than these). But keep in mind that the Lena small is actually one of the smaller cups available to women. Iโll admit that as a person who rarely shoves objects up their lady parts I was a bit daunted. I read all the instructions carefully, even googled a couple methods and prepared myself to give the smaller cup a try. I was starting to spot and wanted to figure it out before the real deal. Comfort: I can honestly say that my first couple experiences were not pleasant, mainly because it took me a while to figure out how to insert and position the cup correctly. Iโm not a virgin, never given birth before, but again Iโm pretty new to the idea. The main thing I learned: if you feel uncomfortable, if you feel muscle spasms, if you feel like you canโt pee, if you feel anything other than nothing or close to nothing โ take it out and try againโฆ Seriously itโs not worth the โis it suppose to feel this awful???โ, be patient, like everything it takes practice and confidence, and sometimes shorter nails. I choose to keep the stem on for the first couple of tries to help position and pull it out (and for the love of god make sure you break the seal before pulling it out). I found the steam to be uncomfortable, kinda like a dry tampon string. As I became more confident Iโve now trimmed the stem down to a small nub which has infinitely increased the comfortability. Leakage: As for periods, I generally get some leakage if I donโt use the cup back to back. I had leakage if I wore the small cup over night (I generally get up and change pads/tampons during night time) without emptying it. For some reason I found the cup begins to leak when itโs 2/3 full. During my heavier days I found myself rinsing the small cup every 4 hours or so to prevent leakage. I believe if I wore the larger cup I would be able to wear it longer with fewer leaks. But wearing a washable pad, panty liner, or period panty seemed to eliminate my worries with the smaller cup (sweet blessed freedom of not running to the bathroom every 2 hours to make sure I hadnโt bleed through my overnight pad and tampon). Overall this was a huge step up from pads and tampons. And surprisingly enough I have found my flow and cramps drastically decrease when I use the cup (IS THIS THING FRACKING MAGIC???). Iโm not saying this will happen for you, my experience could be for an unrelated reason, or simply altered perception. Cleaning: Iโve never tried to deal with this in a public restroom, and Iโm going to avoid ever doing so if I can. I have adult toy cleaner that I use during shark week and I boil it in a cup of water in the microwave at the end of a cycle. Seriously itโs insanely easy to deal with. The best thing? You donโt get the โbattle field smellโ (or what I assume a battlefield would smell like after a blood bath) that I normally associate with my period. Looking over the other reviews. Iโve never tried yoga during my period so I canโt really speak to the debate of wearing this during yoga, except to ask who does yoga on their period? Iโm normally curled around a heating pad in the fetal position praying for a quick death. Comfort and leaking, again it takes time to learn how to position the cup correctly. Even times when I thought I had the technique down I would have a set back. As for the โewโ factor, as one commercial famously said โperiods donโt have glitterโ. Iโve had to cleaned blood out of underwear, pants, showers, floors, bathroom rugs, walls, cars, office chairs (you name it and Iโve probably been scrubbing blood out of it at some point). This is by far one of the few things that has made my period better. So unless your periods involve rainbows youโll have to get over the blood because this is your life for the next 20-30 yearsโฆ

Love these cups!!
I first learned about menstrual cups when I saw that the period subscription box I was using offered Softcups. I was intrigued by the concept, so I gave them a try...and I loved them! This led me to look into reusable cups. Softcups are shaped and function very differently than reusable cups, so I did quite a bit of research before settling on Lena cups. The main cup that comes to mind when people mention menstrual cups is the Diva cup; however, I learned that Diva cups are some of the largest menstrual cups available, and that they're not a great fit for everyone. The cup has to be small enough to properly expand and lightly suction to the walls of your vagina. If it's too large, it won't seal and can collapse, which causes leaks and is also uncomfortable. Since I wasn't really sure how to measure myself, I didn't want to risk wasting a good bit of money on a cup that might be too big. So, I spent hours researching for some of the smallest cups I could find. I compared the width of the rim and the length of the body (not including the stem) of so many brands. It was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be since many brands don't list the measurements. It's great that most brands have a large and a small option, but one brand's small can be larger than another brand's large, which is maddening! For example, the small Diva is 43mm wide and 53mm long, while the large Lena cup is smaller at 45mm wide and 50.7mm long. This small Lena is 41mm wide and 46mm long, so it is significantly smaller than the small Diva. I believe the small Lena is a much better size for first-time users, unless you are absolutely certain that your cervix sits high during menstruation and can use a longer cup. Other things to consider when choosing a cup are what it's made of, where it was made, and what safety standards it meets. Lena cups are made of medical grade silicone, are made in the USA, and are FDA-registered, so I was confident that it was safe to use. Now, for what I love about my Lena cup: โข No more leaks!!! I've never had a leak during the day or even overnight, and I can actually wear nice underwear with confidence knowing that they won't be ruined. It holds so much more than the tampons I was using. When I first starting using a cup, I emptied it every few hours (like I did with tampons), and it was nowhere close to being full. I can safely go all day without having to empty the cup. โข No more dealing with my period in a public restroom! I only have to empty it when I wake up and right before bed, which is the best thing ever! I can't even express how much I love not having to deal with it during the day. Public bathrooms are already not ideal, so not having to worry about changing a tampon is a huge plus! On heavy days (which are rare), I might have to empty it once during the day, but I literally have never needed to empty it in a public restroom in the 17 months that I've been using a cup...compared to changing tampons every few hours. If I do need to empty it in a public restroom, it's nice that I don't need to carry anything with me, and it's no messier than changing a tampon. โข Better for my vagina! Tampons don't discriminate when they're absorbing, so they can really dry you out (and anyone who has ever pulled out a dry tampon knows how freaking painful that it is!). That messes with pretty much everything up there, especially the good bacteria and your pH level. They also increase your risk of developing toxic shock syndrome (TSS) because they absorb and trap any bad bacteria. Cups don't mess with any of that. Since they don't absorb anything, your vagina remains unchanged, so there's no bounce-back time after your period where it needs to rebuild the supply of good bacteria and get back to a healthy pH level. Your risk of developing TSS is also much, much lower, so menstrual cups are safer to use over longer periods of time. โข Better for the environment and my wallet! I love that there's no trash (wrapper, applicator, the tampon itself) each time I use my cup. When you think about the thousands of tampons you'd use throughout your life, that's a lot of waste that won't end up in a landfill. And for the price of a few boxes of tampons, you'll get years of use out of a cup (as long as you take care of it). I'm saving a ton of money by not buying tampons every month, and I'm reducing the amount of waste I produce, so that's a win-win. I really don't have any negatives for these cups. My small pink has some minor staining after 17 months of use, which is completely normal and will happen with any cup you buy. I'm sure a dilute hydrogen peroxide soak will make it look brand new again. I bought this set as a backup, and I was curious to try the large, since the small works so well. It did fully open, but it was harder to remove because there was more suction and it was just a bigger cup to remove. I will continue to use my smalls, and I will keep the large for after I have children. If you've read through this mini-essay of a review, I hope it helped! The condensed version is that I cannot recommend these cups enough! They have truly changed everything about my period experience, and I no longer dread when it arrives. Do your research, look up tips, watch YouTube videos, and give them a try!!

Life-changing
For the last few years, by some weird chance happening, every time I take a vacation or trip my period comes along with me. Every. Single. Time. This last time we went up to Montana and Wyoming for a 10 day vacation of hiking, horseback riding and 4-wheeler excursions, all with my period on board. All of this was made possible with the Lena cups! I tried out a different (cheaper) brand a few months prior to my big vacation. I knew I had to change from tampons, where I was headed had no modern restrooms for 100 miles and there would be a lot of outhouses and trees until we went back to civilization at the end of the day. I had heard of menstrual cups many years ago and was disgusted by the idea. I was young and naive then!! Now that I am older and want more of my freedom back from a restroom and leaks, I took the plunge. The cheaper cup worked fine for my first trial period. I had a leak, but it was minor. I did more research after my period was over and decided to try a different brand to see if it would fit my "shape" better. The Lena did the trick. I never felt it and never struggled to get it to open up properly. It fit me perfectly! On my heaviest days, I used the larger cup and went horseback riding on the Big Horn Mountains for 7 hours. 7 hours on a horse's back!! I thought surely I would've leaked after all of that! I never, not once, leaked! After a quick rest, we went right back out on 4-wheelers! I cant tell you how life-changing a menstrual cup has been for me. I take it out, wash, then put back in when I wake up and do the routine again around bed time, and yes you can sleep with it. On heavier days I removed it at around the 8hr mark, with the larger cup. Most days it lasted me 12hrs, with the regular size, though I have a normal flow-if your's is heavier then plan 6-8hrs. Your first period with it will be a little messy, but you'll get the hang of it by the next period and will have less mess. I use any mild hand soap that's on hand (especially when you're vacationing-most soaps in vacation properties are mild due to general public use), when at home I use an actual menstrual cup wash. If you're in a public restroom and absolutely must remove it to empty it out, you can get away with wiping it out with TP and re-using AS LONG AS you wash it properly when you get home or are able to at your next stop!! (Yes you can use the bathroom while it is in and NOT have to remove it) And as for using the cup and inserting, there are several folds recommended in the guide that comes with the Lena. The C-Fold is easy and I found that worked for me. I trimmed the end on the larger cup because it sits "lower" than the smaller one does. If you're considering trying out a menstrual cup for the first time, dont be afraid and RELAX! Pick a cycle where you'll likely be home (i.e. not traveling for fun or work) and you'll be comfortable. Practice does make perfect! Once you get it figured out you will be amazed at how liberating it is! If you dont know when your period comes (if you just never tracked it-download a period tracker app) or if you're irregular, the cup is an even better solution. I keep one in my purse, my locker at work, in my car, and at the house. They're discreet, light and can be folded, and come with cute little cloth bags. No more being suprised by your period and having to beg a tampon or pad off of a stranger in a public restroom! Doesn't that sound great?

This cup doesn't seem to be for me - Updated review
I gave a three star review because I do think that the design and material are great. Just not for me. I'm an experienced cup user. I've been using a Diva for many years. The only reason I decided to try a different brand was because I do experience some cramping with the Diva. I bought the Lena two pack and was initially extremely pleased. I decided to try the Large first. I'm 48, have had two vaginal deliveries, and have a medium/high cervix. The large was easy to insert and opened for me without a problem. I experienced absolutely no leaking, even though I needed to empty the cup after two hours (super heavy flow the first two days). I know that the cup was sealed because I heard the suction break when I was removing it. My problem was that the cup slipped down to the entrance of my vagina when I urinated and when I was walking. I did end up cutting the entire stem off to see if I could live with the cup sitting so low, but I can't. I tried multiple folds and made sure that the cup was fully open. Each time I heard the suction release upon removal. Today I tried the small, hoping that maybe it would work better. The same thing happened and it slipped all the way down. I'm disappointed, but I don't think that the product is at fault. I think that it's just not the right cup for me. Which is really unfortunate because I experienced no cramping and no leakage at all. I have recommended the Lena to my daughters, I just think that despite kegels and lower abdominal exercises, my pelvic muscles can't keep this cup in. I've emailed customer service hoping or some advice to make this work, but haven't heard back yet. I wanted to add an update. This is the third cycle I've tried using both Lena Cup sizes. I've tried every fold and position. I love how easily the cup open, and I desperately wanted it to work. I just think that it's not for me. I can't get it to stay where it's supposed to stay and I end up a lot of irritation from reinserting and adjusting. Perhaps the shape isn't right for my body or my pelvic muscles are too weak to hold it where it's supposed to be, but I'm done trying now. I'm disappointed that it doesn't work for me, but not in the product itself. I would highly recommend the Lena as a first cup for anyone to try.

Must buy!!!
Girls - do not hesitate to make this purchase. I was so unsure but thought, what have I got to lose - and ditched tampons for Lena. Well, I honestly think these are a game changer. Iโm just gutted I found these so late in life. Iโve always been wary of swimming during my period and have the odd month where tampons last 40 mins which can be embarrassing if youโre out. The confidence I have in this is amazing. Theyโre slightly more tricky than tampons to insert but only slightly. Itโs easy enough to tell that theyโre in ok & theyโre easy to remove. Word of warning - turn the tap on gently. Or it will splash everywhere. The money saving, the environment saving, the embarrassment saving... so many plusses. I love these. And no, they didnโt reward me for a glowing review or send me free stuff. This is my honest opinion. Go for it ladies!

Excellent
I had to emergency order a menstrual cup as forgot mine when going away with Amazon prime. I have used a mooncup since 2013 so am very comfy with it. I read so many reviews for different ones and Saalt looked quite good in comparison but this stood out more. I'm glad I went with Luna. Arrived within a day and 2 for a lot less money than other brands. The small one is handy for end of period and the large for heavier days. I got on very quickly with both of them. Going to take over from the mooncup and will keep that for emergencies. They are slightly more firm than a mooncup but tbh I had no issues with them and the shape was very comfortable.

Wonderful menstrual cup and even better customer service!
I decided to make the switch to menstrual cups and was drawn to Lena's attitude towards sizing. Rather than having a small size for younger (under 30) or prepartum women and a large size for older (over 30) or postpartum women, they simply advertise their cups for lighter and heavier flows, both of which most women encounter during their period. I, therefore, decided to order the two size pack. While the smaller size was perfect, the larger size (which I preferred to wear on heavier days) was uncomfortable to remove. I contacted their customer services team who encouraged me to try their larger sensitive model free of cost and it was a perfect match (albeit less quick to insert due to its lack of rigidity)! The Lena team was extremely helpful and followed up on my experience with the large sensitive cup, which is my go to from the start to the end of my period. Switching to a menstrual cup has been life changing and I was fortunate enough to find a perfect match in the Lena cup! A message to other menstrual cup companies: Please don't make me dread my 30th birthday and the unexplainable, seemingly overnight enlargement my lady parts.

Not perfect, but nearly!
First cup I managed to get open and no leak (tried a few and was ready to give up: Mooncup has a too large hard ring that was hurting when getting out, MeLuna M classic was leaking (although I wonder if there was a default as the rim was not quite circular, finally the Lily cup L classic was a nightmare: so soft absolutely no way to get it open!)! Getting the 2 sizes was a good idea too: large one for big days, small one for lighter days... both work (40 yrs old, no child)! Only issue is to retrieve the large one: the bottom is very flat and very hard to pinch to break the sill.... especially when it has moved quite high up. Comfort-wise: for the small one it's like it was not there, for the large one I can sometimes feel it pushing on my bladder (but I usually just have to re-position it or wait for it to find it's own place). So not quite perfect, but nearly! I also would like to mention, like others, the very good quality of the cup and the thought gone into the no plastic packaging.

Wonderful!!
When both came I was expecting to use the smaller one but ended up more comfortable in the bigger one (Iโm 18 with a moderate to heavy flow). Iโve now used it for 2 full cycles and am sold! I love being able to keep them in for 12 hours on my lighter days and not worry. At night they leaked in the beginning so I cut off the stem and no more leaks!! Absoloutely amazing and such a game changer. My cramps have become less and i really enjoy not making so much waste!
