4.5" x 7" Flexible 200% Magnifier Sheet

The size is perfect! Easy to hold and maneuver. Can be easily carried around in a book, school bag, purse etc. But it is somewhat hazy visually. It's made of plastic, not glass. So the haziness makes sense.

This lense makes a good aid for reading fine print as long as you can hold it with two hands or are ok with moving the lens around over a page. A little less rigid than I would have liked, but magnification basically works well. I know the description says 'flexible' but the focus is really distorted when this type of lens (fresnel) is bent so if the lens is not perfectly flat parts of whatever you are viewing will be distorted out of focus. The lens is rigid enough to hold with one hand, but doing so bends the lens which puts part of what you are viewing out of focus. Note: I gave this 4 stars so my comments about the flexibilty and focus aren't a criticism of this product or manufacturer my comments are more related to flexible fresnel lenses and how the flexibility effects the focus in general - which might be relevant to how you plan to use this.

Nice item

It is a great size and does magnify when you hold it away from the page or in my case the laptop screen. I had hoped it would magnify while laying on the laptop screen without having to hold it but that didn't happen. It is useful but only in limited circumstances. I felt it was a bit pricey considering the side and the fact it has to be held, etc.

Disappointed that I could not lay the sheet on top of the page I was reading. It had to be held about 1/2 - 1 inch away at an angle. I spent more time moving it around and trying to read through the sheet than was necessary. It might be good for reading a couple of sentences, but not a page out of a book. Plus side is the seller ships fast and good packaging.

I like it but I think I should have ordered a stronger magnification, maybe handheld and lighted so I can see words along the inside edge of the pages. Otherwise it's a good tool if you need help to read regular print. I gave it a three because it is flimsy and does not remain rigid over the page as you move it about the page or in and out to adjust for the best magnification. When I say flimsy I meant it is thin and bendable-- it is described as flexible. I got what I ordered and that's good.

I would not recommend this magnifier to anyone. It is hard to get it in the right position. I wanted to be able to lay it on the page and see it magnified. You have to hold it away from what you're looking at. That doesn't work if you're trying to type what you're looking at.

This product came on time, safely packed.It is an excellent size for most reading, and uses the Fresnel lens technology to give you a flat magnifier. I only wish it were a bit stiffer. When held at the edges it tends to bend, putting parts of the page out of focus, but it is no big thing and the effect should diminish with more practice using the lens.By the way, I tested to see if it could also be used as a burning glass, like a glass magnifier. It works great. So, I would recommend buying a second one to carry with any camping gear you might have.
