Got this glass pitcher for tea that I make in big batches and I’m working on using less plastic and more glass or stainless steel items. And this pitcher is perfect. Super light weight, the lid has a good seal and has the option to have an open pour or a more filtered pour which I love in case not all of my tea got strained. And it’s extremely cute

I have been looking for something to brew my iced tea in. This carafe is a great size and the opening is large enough to be able to clean it. Most importantly for me, I have not had any issues with it taking boiling water for the tea. It is attractive and well made, but it is a bit thin so it may not be right for you if you have young children who could be rough with it.

I love these glass pitchers. My family drinks lots of iced tea. From start to finish it takes me 14 minutes to make brisk, clean tasting ice tea using my special little brewing trick. I know that some others have expressed problems in the past with these pitchers, but I saw a statement from the company somewhere that they noted the complaints and problems people reported and resolved them. That must be true because I have had no issues. They are a thin lightweight borasilicate glass with a nice tight fitting lid (not spill proof). They are absolutely heat resistant. I pour boiling water right from the kettle into the pitcher. They are easy to clean and care for and come with a good sized, long handled sponge to help in the cleaning. They have a nice wide mouth for cleaning and an ample sized handle for pouring. After I used the first pitcher a while, I was so happy that I bought another for lemonade and boiled lemon water. The are so pretty and look great right on the table. I don't use them directly on the stove top or any heat source. I will admit that I DO handle them gently. I hold them by the body and I don't put them in the sink with other dishes or knock them about the sink or clang them against other dishes. I wash and handle them separately and immediately dry them and make ready for the next batch of tea. They are pretty much in constant use. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Really beautiful. Looks and feels a little bit fragile but so far has stood up to regular use no problem. It's made out of heat resistant glass so you can pour hot drinks directly into it or brew hot tea directly in it. The top is nice for storage and depending on how it is rotated, either seals the pitcher, allows liquid to pour out with coarse straining (would catch teabags, orange seeds), or pour out with no straining. Storage mode is very nice for preventing splashes but unfortunately the pour modes don't work well. They tend to ruin the pour of the pitcher and you can't help but make a bit of a mess when pouring through either. I just take the top off when it's out of the fridge and on the table.Very nice for the price. Would be 5 stars if the top worked a little better.

Ok, they had me judge heat resistance in the stars portion but I haven’t used it for anything hot? So I gave it 5 stars since I didn’t know. I have washed both (this is second one I bought so far) in dishwasher and they held up fine! Just be sure nothing heavy is next to it that might brake it. Be warned, it does seem very fragile (not as fragile as it seems though I can attest to as I have knocked it against a few things accidentally and it never broke!) and thin but I have had no issues with it. I have had the 1st one for about 4 years so far now. I have problems with my wrists and weak hands so I like this because it means it is very light weight, and a thicker glass would be much heavier especially with liquid in it! However if this would bug you, you have been warned!The lid is great, however do be aware that while it stays on well even when you turn it so the open sides are not forward if you tilt it liquid can still come out due to design of lid! If you don’t tilt it as though you intend to pour though it will be fine. The lid has never come off while pouring or anything. You do want to make sure during cleaning that when you take the rubber piece off the lid the you put it on the right way again or it will affect the seal in the lid!Otherwise everything is roses 🌹 ! Great for infused water, iced tea or iced coffee (have done all of above). Love it so much I bought a second one as we are trying to remove plastics from our home.

Hubby is very happy with his Xmas gift and I am to. No more plastic containers in the fridge and it looks good and stores just the right fluid in it.

It’s the perfect size. Large enough to hold a gallon of tea and still fit in the refrigerator. It’s beautiful enough to display on your table or cabinet. It is well made and nicely priced. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I really needed this pitcher to work for me. I have been on a mission to make a new recipe for Sangria and needed this pitcher to complete my project. But alas! While washing the pitcher and lid, I removed the silicone ring so I could wash underneath.When I tried to reinstall the ring I had the most excruciating pain on my thumb that I have ever had! It was like I had been sliced with a knife! There was blood everywhere! I did not expect this. After I finally got the bleeding to stop I looked at the instructions for the second time. There wasn't anything in the instructions about this sharp edge. I can understand why I read a review about the silicone ring being damaged. He probably got a return item!Not a good design and there needs to be a warning added about the razor sharp edge!

El vidrio es muy delgado, por lo tanto es muy frágil. En lo futuro recomiendo incluir en la descripción del producto el grosor del vidrio.

Exactly what I was looking for. Fits perfectly in my fridge, holds enough water for the day and is easy to handle even when full.
