Amazing set of professional lights
As a youtuber, I found it very easy to install. And I was looking for a versatile light system that was easy to control and this met all my expectations. I want to tell you about some of the key features that are important to me. But there is much more to the lights that I will talk about here. I can definitely say that.First, her bag is great. I can only buy this bag for £100. Because it is obvious that it is an expensive and very high quality bag. It is also a case that protects from damage and is waterproof. That was a bit of a bonus as the lights came in the bag and it's great. When you remove all the cartons and packaging, you have a lot of room to include other kits. I can put a few small lights and plug-ins in the bag as an extra. Really good quality and I am very satisfied.Tripods are the best quality tripods I've used. Not like tripods I've bought before in the £20-30-50 range. It can even carry me… They serve the purpose here just fine, and they're definitely not those cheap flimsy tripods I've put together with lights before. But the main thing is the panel and it's gorgeous! Simply awesome! Quality is great. The ability to change RGB and temperature is great and there are many different features to change the values. Thanks to these lights, I understood how powerful LED lights are. When I turned the lights on, we were blinded :) Incredibly powerful lights! On the back of the lights are detailed adjustment and digital display. But you can make the most detailed settings from the mobile application. There are many settings such as entertainment, disco, lightning, daytime, hot and cold. You can also make adjustments as you wish.If you shoot videos alone like me, you can adjust everything without getting up from your seat thanks to the mobile application. In this way, you can make a great video alone. You can focus lights on a single point or angle. They have good quality curtains above, below, left and right. In this way, you can manage the light.Tripods can exceed a human height. So I can say that it has full professional use and size. You can use the lights wirelessly. But for this you need to get the batteries. I'm going to buy the battery as I like the lights so much. I want to be good enough to shoot the best quality videos wherever I want. These lights have upgraded my quality. If I use it well, I will be in a better position.Overall, I can definitely recommend this light set. You really won't be disappointed and they are way better than any lights I've easily had. I paid a lot of money but glad I bought it. He has 100% proven to me that cheap lights don't work.+ Durable construction and design quality+ Balance of power so that they can last a long time with batteries+ Easy application and use system+ Quality, expensive and waterproof bag+ Excellent light quality and brightness+ Multi-featured lights+ Private and official mobile application

Quality lighting kit
Recently in the media world, I have seen these in use. Well, these light been in use for a long time but more trending. So i decided to get these. This RGB light adds tone to an object as well as normal lighting too.Starting from the packaging, this is the first time i bought from GVM. I am surprised by the quality of the packaging. Each item has its bag, silk-like the bag. The whole set comes in a box, inside is a carrying case that holds the stand, DC adapters, and light itself. Inside the carrying case, the stand and light have its carrying bag, as mentioned before.Compared to the photos these are small lights, approx 20-25cm in height and length. I thought these would be bigger. In terms of build quality, the lights are built from metal framing, not plastic. They also don't feel cheap. the light produced from these is also not too harsh, create colour. However, the stand seems to be a higher quality stand then the video light i bought previously. it should be for the cost i paid for these lights. This light either uses SONY's "NP-F" series battery which i had lucky. This is great for outdoor shooting. Or laptop 15V DC connection. When using "NP-F", 2 batteries will be required to power the lights. I tried 1, but failed to turn on, most likely due to voltage shortage. (See photo)During testing, I was able to make one of the lights a MASTER and the other "Slave. I was able to control both lights simultaneously using the app too. (See video) The light also comes with pre-build different light functions, which was good. The only downside I thought was they didn't have a built-in RGB colour changer on the light it self. the "GVMEASY" app required to change the RGB light.when testing the light I found it good feature and quality. I never owned an RGB battery-powered light. These were the first, I am really happy I got them.Pro:1. Master/Slave works2. WIFI controllable(works on android too)3. Great carrying case and silk cloth bags4. Works with sony battery too5. LEDs are not cheap, reproduces great light.Con:1. Doesn't have RGB controller on the light itself2. Bit pricy3. Stand nob feels a bit cheap

Good value, but limited capability
Bought these as wanted some cheap lights for home projects without spending big bucks on pro gear. They come in a good case, with most components individually bagged inside. The power supplies and leads are not however, so they pack in a bit clumsily. The build quality is decent for the price - not the most solid lights of all time but surprisingly robust for the money, including the stands. The only disappointment is the barn doors, which are made of plastic and don't grip the frame tightly enough, so they are easy to knock out of place and won't take any weight, e.g. clip on gels. The quality of the white light they emit is pretty good, again not the most accurate ever, but they've been used in a shoot with high end kit and the colours came out fine. The white balance is adjustable within reasonable boundaries, though a higher top end would have been useful. It doesn't adjust the bi-colour LEDs on a curve either, so the output is greater in the middle than at either end.The biggest issue I have with the light is how little range is available to control the brightness. The dial goes from 0 to 100%, but the output level at 1% is still pretty bright - I haven't measured it but it didn't seem any less than 50% optimistically. That dramatically reduces their flexibility in fitting into a shoot with other lights, leading to cutting up ND filters to stick to the panel. This lack of range is also very prominent using the RGB LEDs as well. I can easily dial in intense, saturated primary colours, but you'll have less luck if you wanted to add more subtle tints. Think 'party' rather than 'cinematography'.Considering how cheap these lights are I was not expecting a great dynamic range since those higher quality LEDs can be pricey, but it's still a little surprising just how limited the brightness control is. It's the biggest limitation to their creative options. The lights can be controlled directly from the back or you can install an app. The app isn't great, you can control a single light simply enough but controlling both is a pain. Set up is awkward and I've not found a way to control connected lights individually yet. Seems like I'd need a second phone to do it how I want. (Note, this is despite a control in the app that let's you assign lights to different channels - only rather than selecting which channel you want to control, it instead sets all connected lights to that channel. It seems entirely pointless.)Overall then these lights can be quite limiting creatively, particularly if you need lighting that allows for nuance and subtlety, but if you are looking for some reasonable bi-colour panels that can also give you some colour options at a pinch then you can't really argue against these at that price.

GVM: RGB LED Video Light Kit (800D)
▬ Introduction ▬▬▬The '800D' is a versatile RGB LED panel light which boasts quite a lot of features such as brightness, warm to cool white temperatures and a large range of colours; all achievable without the use of lighting gels and are quickly adjusted with just a few clicks and twists of a button. This package is a whole lighting kit, so comes with two lights and several accessories to get you started.▬ Box Contents & Recommended Extras ▬▬▬I was really pleased to see how well packed the lighting kit was inside the included hard travel case which keeps all the contents firmly in place during transport.- What's in the box:• 2x GVM 800D RGB light.• 2x Light diffuser (already inserted).• 2x Barn doors (already attached).• 2x Power cable w/ AC adaptor.• 2x Light stands.• 1x Travel case.• 1x Instruction manual. If you want to make the lights more portable, you can bypass the wired route by separately purchasing some 'NP-F970' rechargeable batteries; you will need four in total as each lighting unit requires two batteries to operate.▬ Set-Up ▬▬▬Using the lights is very straight-forward: The knob on the left adjusts the brightness and the knob on the right which is also a button adjusts the colour temperature, hue and saturation (press the knob to switch between each setting).A handy feature that some may find useful are the 'Master' and 'Slave' modes; providing both lights are set on the same channel, then the 'Master' light settings is adjusted, the 'Slave' light will then copy those settings with only a slight latency; this will save you time having to adjust the second light manually. There are some lighting effects available to choose from and whilst these are quite basic, they may be handy for some projects.▬ 'GVM Easily' App ▬▬▬There is an app available called 'GVM Easily' which allows you to adjust the light settings through your WiFi enabled smart device.I was using the app with my Android smartphone and felt there was a bit of trial and error to get it to work, however, I did get there in the end. It turns out my phone was treating the light as a router and because it was not getting internet connectivity, it kept cutting the connection; I was then prompted by my phone the option to remain connected which I opted for and this seemed to resolve the issue. The app overall does need some improvements to make it more user friendly; this could easily be implemented via an update.Luckily for me, when I use these lights they are easily accessible so I don't need to use the app and adjusting the settings directly on the light, is really simple.▬ Results & Final Thoughts ▬▬▬The lights are very bright and offers a nice amount of white temperatures (3200K - 5600K) and a huge amount of colours to choose from with a ride range of hues and saturation adjustment. It's a great light for both photography and videography.

Great to control from in front of the lights!
Apart from the fact that I needed more light than the smaller portable lights I already have, one of the reasons for getting these was because I can control the brightness and colour from in front of the lights 'in situ' rather than have someone else do it or having to keep getting up to adjust from behind them. And for that, they are perfect. These are very portable (even more so when you pay the extra £70 or so for the batteries) and easy to set up. The WiFi takes a bit of getting used to though and I was using the app on a Samsung S20 Ultra. once connected though it is a doddle to use.Plenty of height and adjustability and above all, very bright
