One of the six was broken. The glass rod inside is what was broken not the glass bulb itself. Otherwise they are fine bulbs. I've included a pic of it.

I love the amber glass and they do shine nicely
I love the amber glass and they do shine nicely. The only downside is they are pictured as just wire filaments, whereas the actual product has an orange coat to parts of the filaments. This isn't a major deal for most consumers, but I do make specialized, steampunk lighting fixtures and the difference just doesn't have the same retro look to it. Still a good product, though.

Too dim for everyday use- 40 watts.
Just BEAUTIFUL but the 40watts are too dim for a bedroom ceiling fan. Will need to order higher wattage.

Perfect for our needs.
These are awesome. We have them out year round and in two years in the Colorado mountains, we have only had to replace two of these. Very happy with them. And the light they produce is perfect for a deck or other outdoor use at night.
