Good value / full of ideas
I held off from ordering this book on the grounds that a) it is quite expensive and b) I wasn't sure how much I would learn from it. I was very wrong about b). There was an enormous amount in here that I hadn't thought about or even knew existed. It is easy to read and covers all aspects of performing electronic music in significant depth. There are also really useful references for further reading at the end of each chapter. Highly recommended.

Brilliant and timely!
This book is a masterpiece, covering a large gamut of the key topics required to be a successful performing Electronic musician. The holistic but detailed approach the author allows the reader to dip and dive into specific topics that they may find more useful than others. One other cool thing about this book are the insightful interviews with some of the leading minds in the field of electronic music. I especially enjoyed the candid opinions from Alex Morph.Lastly, the book comes with a bunch of video led tutorials which are brilliant if you want to actually get your hands dirty and try some of the theory out. The author seems to be some multi talented mastermind!

Must-read for live music performers
I stumbled upon this author's YouTube channel (under their artist name Nyokeë) while searching for accessible information on how to start a live performance setup when coming from studio production in a DAW.This book goes beyond just the technical aspects of setting up an electronic music performance. It also gives a lot of focus to creative vision and mental preparation. I appreciated that the author makes no assumptions or impositions on what you wish to do or how you might want to achieve it. The book provides explanations of elements and gives ideas through specific relevant examples, all while reiterating that everything you do should serve your artistic goals.Besides being clear, concise and helpful, it is actually in and of itself a thoroughly enjoyable read. I also highly recommend the author's video tutorials on YouTube.Only slight comment (nothing to detract from my five-star rating) is how small the font is. I imagine this was to keep the size of the book manageable.

Great read
The first holistic book I've seen for everyone from singers, looperists, live remixers, modular synthesists, and ableton performers to even live coders and DJs. Highly recommended!
