It definitely does its thing, it allows me to have my work-station and personal desktop all in the same tidy spot without needing a larger desk if not multiple. So I give it that: It works! The price is ok.But it's been very inconsistent when it comes to the desktop and mouse. I don't know if the third party softwares of razer and corsair conflicting with this thing but I will get this occasional session of me unplugging and plugging the ports because, for some reason, it suddenly makes these two things stop working for no reason, and work again with no particular specific method. It's just random. Also, when that happens, I can't switch the computers anymore. It's like the box gets confused. I have to constantly manually reset it.

I decided to try this dual HDMI version with my home PC and work HP Zbook. The zbook has Thunderbolt so I had to use an HP Dock along with this setup. My monitors are 2 Dell ultrasharp U2415 with native 1920 X 1200. The HP Thunderbolt dock has 2 DisplayPort outputs and 1 HDMI. To make it consistent, I purchased some shorter Amazon DisplayPort to HDMI cables. My keyboard is a combo Microsoft Wireless Comfort 5050. It has a single USB transmitter/receiver for both the keyboard and mouse.It all works just fine but here is what I did.1. Hooked the outputs of the KVM into the HDMI input on each Dell Monitor.2. Hooked the 2 outputs from my PC into input A on the KVM. Note: My PC also had converters to get to HDMI from Displayport for one of them, Native HDMI for the other.3. Hooked the USB - AB from the KVM to my PC.4. Hooked the HP Dock up the same way, 2 HDMI 'B' input (from displayport using custom cables) into the KVM and the USB into the KVM.5. Plugged the USB power cord from the PC since it's nearly always on, into the power input on the KVM.6. Finally, moved my Keyboard USB dongle from the PC to the KVM. NOTE: It didn't like the KVM port and didn't consistently work there so it is in the 'plain' USB 2 slot on the bottom right face. I must use the button to toggle. I've seen others with this observation on wireless keyboards.With all that in place it just works. I get absolutely native resolution on the monitors just as I did without it. No issues with frequency or anything, it just works and I get the 1920 x 1200.Toggling the button works fine. It seems to keep the other connection 'warm' so it is instant with minimal delay when toggling. Zero complaints a couple days in.

have a small office setup - perfect way to share hardware amongst 2 pcs.

I bought this item as I needed to use my existing dual monitor home pc setup for a remote office setup for my work laptop too. The first unit i bought did have an issue outputting to the second monitor upon 1st use. I contacted them and quickly received a replacement. The replacement unit worked very well for about 32 days, then fell victim to the same issue the 1st unit had. I contacted them and they offered a quick solution while letting me know the have updated the internal components which should resolve my issue. They did this after the 30 days Amazon return window had closed so i was grateful to begin with. They were very "on-top" of the return and quick to reply to any communication. The new unit has worked great right out of the box. They have contacted me a few times since I received the last unit to see if I am happy with my replacement. That is awesome (who actually does this?!?) I told them I would wait until i've had a chance to use it awhile and let them know as well as right up a review for them on Amazon. So far so good!!Highly recommend the product as well as the company.

Installed easy.Turned computers and monitors on. Worked.Started again few days later, NOTHING.To apart, put together still NOTHING.
