Can be an adult mat
I know this is a crazy way to use this mat, but it works. I put the mat together, then cut it to fit the floor of my old stained shower. It is bright, soft and safe to stand on. It takes a pair of scissors and a yard stick and an ;accurate eye and it is done. I am thinking of other ways to use this mat.

Very happy with purchase
These are perfect. We've put the mat together, without the border because the baby was trying to chew those pieces, and when he was fine playing, left the toys on the mat and reconstructed it into a box to hide all the toys (which we won't do when he begins to walk because it's not stable enough to pull up on). Came as described. Used on hardwood floors.

Great buy, excellent price point
Great product. Easy to assemble and clean. Great, vibrant colors. Baby is totally in love. Took the borders off because my six month old was pulling them off to chew on (which now has led him to trying to lift up the actual squares to chew lolol). What I do appreciate, however, is the mat has yet to give to any of his chewing, which makes me confident in the material used to make them. Very durable and safe (though I'll definitely continue to closely monitoring and re-direct baby chewing).

They fit together BUT they smell terrible and maybe are even off gassing
They fit together BUT they smell terrible and maybe are even off gassing, and I wonder what kind of foam this is made of and the manufacturing process. My daughters entire nursery stunk like chemicals until we finally realized it was the foam play mats and got rid of them

Very Disappointing Product, Returned Immediately.
After reading so many great reviews on this product, i'm was super disappointed to receive this "baby play mat" that would be damaging to a baby's skin. Two of the tiles received were super rough/coarse/sharp to my skin let alone a baby's soft skin. Also, i'm unhappy with the colors. they are all different shades. Some match and some don't... Don't waste your time here. Keep looking.

Great for hard flooors!
These are just what we needed to give our 6 month old some play space on our hardwood floor. I will likely order another set so that I can create a play space in our kitchen, too. The only way these could be better is if they were cat-resistant. My cat has made puncture marks all over one square and chewed off one of the nubs to lock it together.

Several pieces of mats have unexpected "thorns" on the surfaces
Several pieces of mats feel like there are some unexpected "thorns" on the surfaces that prick the hand. These thorns can't be wipe away. So I have to remove these ones to keep my babies safe who will learn to crawl on the mats. I hope the quality can be improved to reduce this defect. By the way, I bought two sets, and every set has this defect.

Cushiony padded mats works great for transition from crawler to Walker toddler
I only used 9pc so far, but it has good cushion which is great for the transitioning crawler to walker stage my child is in. Haven't tried cleaning yet I hope a mild soap and scrub will do the trick.
