I bought this to replace an HDD OS boot drive. The BIOS recognized it and it works smoothly however, its sequential R/W speeds never hit 300MB/s. No special utility or software to help with tuning the SSD like what I got from Crucial or Samsung. Have a Crucial SATA III SSD and its R/W hits 700MB/s
