I take 2 x 2mg pills daily of this to overcome chronic diarrhea that had ruined my life. This compound has been around since the mid 1970's and there are research articles from that era that describe its use in this way. I have no colon! I need this and depending upon how you juggle your medical coverage, this is retail and affordable! It is possible to obtain the same medicine for less...if u have the right coverage and a prescription that is OK to be filled with generic meds.

I have had IBS-D for decades. When most companies switched from bottles to those annoying blister pack individual pill packages, I was really frustrated. I take upwards of 18 a day to control diarrhea, so you can imagine the amount of time it takes me to open dozens of those stupid little blister packs.I found these and bought two bottles. I immediately had diarrhea. I've found that I have to take twice as many of these as I take of any other product. Imodium, Walmart brand, Safeway brand, etc all work the same. These I need to take double.It's so strange, the amount of loperamide is the same pill to pill as the other brands, but these take twice as many to control my symptoms. I may stay with them as even taking double, it's a time saver from those dang blister packs. But heads up, if you suffer from something like severe IBS-D, or similar diagnoses, this won't work the same as other brands at your usual dose.

Great deal , will buy again suffer from IBS, eat like candy, that's why I need such a good deal, will buy again.

I don't see any difference between these and the pricey ones I had been buying at walgreens.

This is a truly generic version of the name-branded medicine that contains the very same main medication in a much different configuration. Because it's a smaller pill its ingestion is very much easier. Its efficacy is about the same, so don't change your expectations for relief; it's still slower than we'd like it to be. But, it's the same product in more efficient packaging and therefore equally potent with less hassle.

Wonderful to finally find a manufacturer offering bottled anti diarrheal tablets rather than those labor intensive and wasteful blister packs! Those of us with family members who experience recurring digestive issues truly need a convenient packaging alternative - and this is it! Tablets are of good quality and perform as expected. Price is fine. Highly recommend.
