How I use this blade to make refurbishing life more easy
Few people would use this for what I do.Under counter water heaters are usually hooked up before the counter top is installed. Down the road they have to come out for replacement.THIS IS THE BLADE YOU WANT TO DO THAT.With a corded (therefore skinny) Bosch reciprocating saw and this blade the process is to simply saw off everything but the electric cable INCLUDING THE TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE VALVE.Takes just a few minutes and one blade with the alternative of spending time learning how to find the snap-on tool guy to buy the special wrenches and extensions that might allow you to unhook the three water lines, two of which you probably cannot touch with your hands. The street L's and T&P valve will not likely clear the counter top under frame anyway. I also use this one for cutting nails when replacing beams blocks and rafters. Slick and inexpensive and the only one I have found of this quality flexibility and length.Once the heater is out and gone you can quickly plumb the job so it can be serviced from the access hole. Slide the heater in and hook it up with your new plumbing out where you can do it as easy as reading this note.Do not cheat on the saw choice. You need a skinny one and Amazon has them at a price that with this blade will make you realize you could not afford to not use them. Work is competition bids and time is huge money. Shaving $100 off the cost of the job because you can, is huge.

Best 12" blades I've found yet
The full manufacturer's model number of this blade is: 20583-110R. I've tried a few 12" blades to do the rather specialized job of cutting out the metal heat exchanger of fireplaces to install a liner for a wood insert. So I am cutting through 3/16" and 16 gauge steel...it's a long story, but I need the 12" length to reach (and cut) the back of the FP heat exchanger from the front. I rarely have had one of these blades bend on me.Anyway, the blade cuts aggressively, better than any of the 12" milwaukee blades I've tried. They last reasonably long considering the abuse. It's important to note though that this blade needs power to work properly. If you don't have one of the few most powerful recip saws, you may have too much blade for the saw. I'm using the biggest Milwaukee sawzall they make. So I can say it's great for mild steel, I have not tried it on wood, plastic, etc. Though it may not be fast in wood (10/14 teeth/inch), it would be killer for going through nail-embedded wood.
