Is this shoe good for long walks every day ! 2-21/2 miles ?

Yes for comfort, but the shoe is very light duty so not sure they'd last very long with so much use, the soles are a more soft type of material.

Do they have good arch support?

For me personally they have good arch support. I can’t really say for each individual person since we all feel differently. I can confirm for me personally the shoe has good arch support the shoe is very breathable, and very comfortable wearing during a hot day in California dry 100 degree climate!!!!!

It’s a normal width but the fabric is soft so it seems that it stretches on your feet.

where is the skecher logo on the mesh above the gen 5 on outside of shoe?

I know where the logo is on the shoes I received; but it seems to vary depending on what color shoe one bought.  If you look at the page for the shoe in question, there are 4 small photos identifying the shoes by color/label.  The pair I have do not match any of those shown.  I can't seem to find the order I placed to get these, though I'm sure I acquired them from Amazon, or how did they know to ask me to answer the question?  If you look at the picture of the shoe in Navy/Gray, the logo on the mesh is placed exactly as shown on the outside of each shoe, back toward the heel.  Except, I don't know why I would have ordered Navy/Gray, when Black was available.  Furthermore, if you look at the photo for Black, you get a different configuration of Gen5 and Sketchers logos; however, this is the only one that has black soles, as mine do.  So, as the pictures now appear for the item, there is no representation, at the moment that matches what I have on my shoes.  All of the pictures, except the Navy/Gray show a tab up by the foot opening, with the Navy/Gray showing the logo actually embedded in the mesh instead of sewn into a seem up top.  And, of course, there is still the oddity of my shoes having black soles with the logo embedded in the mesh, behind the Gen5 sole symbol, as pictured only for Navy/Gray.  I hope that helps.  Of course, my shoes are not 9 EEE US.  I have no idea where that designation is coming from.  Mine, and all I could find under any numbered size are just designated Extra Wide.  I normally wear an E width, and the ones I have feel perfect on my foot.  Sizes have changed over the years, so who knows?
