Works great for before and after school duties. It is loud enough for everyone to hear you, but doesn't have that squeal and high pitched volume that makes people cringe. Lightweight, durable, and effective. Good megaphone for a good price.

I absolutely love this megaphone unfortunately it's not with me at the moment to do a video. I keep it at a ranch where I have a hangar and an airplane and I have a lot of Critters that get in my hangar, while I'm out flying around when it's time to go home and close up I usually sound the Horn which scares a variety of small Critters out of the space. It's the only way to make sure they're not locked in when I leave. Sometimes my little dog decides to go out on adventure through the woods nearby and I use it to call her back which is also very effective. The thing works great and very happy about reviewing it highly recommended and you won't find anything better for the price

I bought the Pyle Portable Megaphone Speaker Siren Bullhorn for talking from the basement to main living area, thinking it'd be "decently loud" for yelling instructions across the field. It projects crystal-clear sound up to 1,000+ yards (depending on the model variant), with zero distortion even at max volume. The built-in siren? Forget about it—it's an ear-piercing emergency alarm that could probably summon help from three blocks away. Perfect for clearing the field or just scaring off squirrels. I wasn't expecting much with a $12 price tag, but it seems to be adequate for my intended use. I didn't think about the batteries, but that's one of my only complaints. I'm used to getting rechargeable devices, but this requires 4 C batteries. I paid around $15 for some rechargeable C batteries and that makes it really worth it. It could be louder for my taste, but I just wanted it to annoy my loud neighbors. It works! I'm not sure how durable it is but I've been playing with it for a few days and it seems to hold up. The package came totally beat to hell, but it doesn't seem like the megaphone is damaged. PLEASE test your product before reviewing! Amazon has a reputation for sending delicate items in a plastic sack... Amazon shipping quality sucks so badly these days... I've received so many smashed products they've had to refund, I don't know why they don't package them better... Another vig complaint is the sliding switch to control the voice/siren usage. You just turn it on and it does it's thing. Having a button to trigger it would be great, but if you're paying $12 for it, I guess it's worth it. Don't pay more for it! They'll jack up the price eventually, but I would NOT pay any more than $12 or 15 for it.

Got this for my in laws to use for hard of hearing grandma. They use it to communicate with her and it has helped them so much! She hears my loud mouth just fine, but for those with the softer voices that don’t carry, this megaphone helps so much!

Awesome product. Very clear and loud.

Voice & siren works well when up to ⅓ volume, any higher volume & the siren sound is like loud knocking & voice sounds have too much vibration/static that can not be understood. I still use it at the ¼ volume. Perhaps the lower volumes protects the neighbors.

It was a gift for a friend who lives in a large villa, and keeps shouting to call his children to come to lunch... they seem to enjoy it. Material is good and the sound seems okay.
