GreenLeaf Horticulture seedling mat is designed with heavy duty PVC material with heating wire running across the mat providing even and thorough heating. The heat from this mat will keep your seeds from being damaged by the cold as well decreasing the time needed for sprouting. Ideal for all gardens including hydroponic/cloning applications. For best results place a towel, or any other type of insulating fabric beneath the mat ensuring all the heat is directed towards your soil. If you are using this mat for a seedling tray, we recommend using a humidity dome. This ensures all the water remains in the environment and your soil will not dry out. Although this mat has an IP rating of 67, we do not recommend submerging this mat under liquids. light spraying or splashing of water will not be an issue. The GreenLeaf Horticulture Seedling Mat does come rolled up. When you first take it out of the box and lay it out, it will have a tendency to roll back onto itself. All you have to do is plug the mat into an outlet and after warming up for a couple of minutes, the material softens and the mat will be completely flat.
