Love this garment for post-surgical wear. It DOES NOT run small for a post lipo, TT, or post-partum garment. For somebody who just wants to use it as shapewear, I could see why they might find it too small, maybe. If you follow the size chart measurements, you'll get the best results - promise!!! This garment has a sturdy mesh outer layer that binds you tightly and an inner layer of soft comfy material. The straps do not dig in, but I have a VERY short torso.I am 5'8", 150 lbs. At the time of my surgery, I weighed 162lbs and was a 36C bust, a 33 waist and a 39" hips. Based on reviews and the recommendations of my doctor, I purchased a large. That worked for the first two weeks when everything was still edematous. I wore the garment with a 1 inch thick foam body pad. By the third week the garment was too large and I had to wear two body pads and finally again on the advice of my doc, I got a medium. I wore that for another two weeks (one week with a body pad, next week with 2 pads), then sided down to a small. I wore that daily without a body pad since I was going on vacation. I hand washed it daily, did not wring it and kept it in the refrigerator after it dried to keep it from stretching out. I am now back from a two week vacation and the small is no longer giving me adequate compression. I had to start wearing the body pad again. I planned to give it another week to see if this as far as I go, or whether I need to buy an XS. I wish I had read a review that warned me that I would need to buy progressively smaller garments.The comfort of this garment is incredible. It somehow combines tight compression and shapeliness with the ability to breath and even workout (by the way I was able to work out again three weeks post surgery). All in all I am VERY PLEASED with my purchase and while writing this review, I made up my mind and have just purchased the extra small!!!!

I am 5'2" when I weighed 127-130 lbs I was wearing small and it was perfect now that I weigh 122 lbs the small is way too big and the xsmall is perfect in the rib cage but still not as tight as I want in on my lower belly. These are made of great material. I will be honest the first couple of days after I got my first one I thought I would never feel comfortable but after a few days I loved it. I don't place my in the washer or dryer. I wash by hand and hang dry. It is always uncomfortable when sitting for long periods of time but wonderful when I lay down, walk around or sit comfortably. The straps on the shoulders are uncomfortable when buying a really tight fit because they are way too close to the armpit. Even with all the cons I will still purchase more because it definately helps me show my waist and my husband says it gave me my 20 year old body again and now i'm 37. I do wear it as much as I can though, pretty much all day everyday except showers and once in a while I won't wear it when I go out.

I just had a full "Mommy Makeover" (Abdominoplasty, Lipo of hips/flanks, and Breast Aug) and ordered this. According to the manufacturers size chart I should wear a Medium, but I ordered a large, as all reviews say this runs small. It fit on me easily, maybe too easily. I just ordered the Medium now to see if it is able to fit and provide the necessary compression without completely cutting off my ability to breathe. Overall, the compression provided with the large is good, and its way more comfortable than wearing the abdominal binder my plastic surgeon gave me post op. I have been wearing it with my abdominal binder over it for extra compression. One huge bonus is the open crotch, so you don't have to take everything off to go pee. It is not tight on my thighs at all, as many other reviewers have complained about. If anything, the upper straps cut into my "side boob" a tad, and that might be the most annoying thing about it. It has hook and eye closures and then the zipper to firmly secure it. I love that the zipper is offset to the side, and not right up the center where my inner muscles are most sore from the recent repair. It's certainly not cheap, but it's well made, and seems to work really well. I see my plastic surgeon tomorrow for my two week post op appointment, so we'll see what she says about it.

This gives great support for after TT surgery. Difficult to get on if you are sore but it has an opening for when you need to use the restroom so you don't have to take it off and on. As others mentioned the legs roll up. They need to be longer or have more of a panty cut. I was glad I ordered my original size and didn't go up as others suggested. The point is to have compression. I will say I ordered this as my second phase garment, so with the swelling I had the first couple of weeks I may not have been able to get it on in my size. The butt "pockets" give a nice shape. Someone said I looked like I had a butt lift, lol! I have no butt so that is a good thing! It was delivered quickly also.

So I personally Love Love Love this shaper... Only downside is it doesnt fit my legs... its to loose where the lace area is, but thats more because im a 2x and have no butt so I don't blame it... Other huge down fall is I've been using it almost everyday for a month and the little hooks are already bent and all out of shape, and for what it cost I dont like that at all. But otherwise I adore how it gives me hourglass shape

so I love this I ordered this twicethe first time I ordered a large but it was wayyyy to big on methen the second one I ordered was a medium and it somewhat fit me a bit largeI did hold me in very good only problem I had is the crouch areaits open so your lady lips will be popping out of them even if you wear panties under themit some how made me look like I had a camel toe and I wasn't really digging it other than that its very easy to put on and zipper up
