Useful, easy to install, but had a small problem
I received two of these wall outlets from the seller and am posting an honest review. These wall outlet replacements allow you to plug in a USB cable and a C-type phone charging cord without needing an adapter and without blocking the normal 220 plug outlet. The outlets were fairly easy to install (make sure to cut the power first), although the unit is quite a bit deeper than a standard wall outlet, so make sure you have room in the wall box for the 2-inch depth and still have room for your wires. Also, the ground wire connection is a little tight, so unscrew the connection screw as far as possible in order to fit the ground wire in.In operation, the unit works well. There is not a lot of space for the USB and phone cord slots around any oversized plugs. If you have any large adapter plug in the wall outlet, they may block the USB/Phone outlets, so consider what else will be plugged in if you intend to use the extra slots. I put one in next to my poker table so when players need to charge their phones, they can plug in without and adapter and without a socket extender. Very useful for similar purposes where you want to plug in a USB device and/or a phone charger without using the standard outlet and without a plug-in adapter.Edit -- two weeks after installation, the rapid charging function for the C-plug to directly plug in my android phone stopped functioning as a rapid charging plug. I had to go back to using the adapter plug in the normal electrical outlet, which blocks the USB input. This is a problem if you expect to use the rapid charging feature for your cell phone.

Inexpensive Alternative Charger from my Macbook Pro.
I was looking for an inexpensive backup charger for my 2016 MacBook Pro that charges over USB Type-C. While an official charger would cost around $70, it was nice to find this 2 pack of wall outlets that could do the job for half the price.Installing these wall outlets was pretty easy. As long as you know how to turn your circuit breaker off for safety, a simple YouTube video could help walk you through how to install an outlet. While my official MacBook charger was able to charge my computer at 60 Watts (20.3Volts @ 3Amps), these outlets have a maximum of 30 Watts (20Volts @ 1.5Amps), so the computer could take twice as long to charge. (that's not an issue for me)Beside charging my computer, you can also use these outlets to charge your cell phone too. When charging my iPhone, both the USB Type-A & Type-C both output 15 Watts (5Volts @ 3Amps).Whenever I had a USB Type-A cable for my iPhone inserted, the power output was reduced to 15Watts, even when the cable wasn't charging my iPhone. At the same time, my Macbook Pro would only charge at 15 Watts. So anytime you aren't charging your phone, you should unplug that cable so your computer can charge at a faster rate. While I used my original Apple USB Type-C cable that I know supports Power Delivery, not all USB Type-C cables are capable of Power Delivery, so make sure you look for that feature on your cables if you want to charge your computer.

It seems like a good product to me.
So first thing is first. I am immediately skeptical of any house electronics from 3rd parties or lesser know manufacturers. So when this said it had UL certification on it I didn't really expect it to be true. I messaged the manufacturer though asking for their certification number and was suprised to get a response with it. When I checked the number on the UL certification site it was infact for this product and registered to the maker so that right there is a huge positive in the quality of this product. This pretty much goes like any other plug installation. Cut outer sheathing, strip about an inch on wire, slide the wires in the back screw clamp (may need to be loosened first) and tighten down with lots of pressure. Tugging on wire to make sure they are secure in the plug. (Brass Screws are Live side, Silver Screws is Neutral. Black wire is live, white wire is Neutral.) The difference in the ground screw when I was not a fan of. It looked like it had a plate to slide a straight bit of wire under and clamp but I felt didn't hold it to my standards. So instead I fully removed the screw and plate, looped the wire and then readded and tightened both down as seen in the pictures. That was definitely secure. The face cover which I show in the pictures also is the screwless kind that you first put an underplate that a cover plate snaps on.

Works great!!
First impression is this is good quality. Looks like its very well built and packaged. It doesn't look or feel cheap. I inspected it a little to make sure it was going to cause a fire or anything. Seems to have the proper listings and protection. I have an electrical background, so installing a receptacle is not difficult for me. Instructions are easy to follow (if needed). It is a bit bulky. A bit bigger than a standard GFCI. So if you have a lot of wires or joints in your box it will be difficult to install. The biggest disappoint is that is doesn't match my other receptacle covers. It uses a modern, proprietary square cover that snaps on.Overall it works good. It charges USB just fine. I have not tried to use the USB-C yet because I do not have a cable or anything that uses USB-C to charge. I wish this one had two USB ports instead of the USB-C. But all in all it works fine. Definitely, something to check out.

Very nice
I believe all power outlets should have at least one USB port nowadays. This coming with 2 outlets and each having 2 USB ports made a lot of sense to me.I like that it has one USB A as well as one USB C port, so it caters to old and new USB devices. USB C port supports Power Deliver (PD) so you should be fine even using a recent MacBook Pro with it.Installation is very simple if you know the basics of electricity. I replaced two old and crummy traditional outlets and I'm pretty sure I will buy some more of these to replace the rest.
