The light blue Milk of Magnesia bottle is embossed and just lovely. The windchime is about 18" long and has a subtle, melodic sound. The chimes are hand-cut stained glass, alternating pieces of a vintage-look embossed clear glass and light blue, a perfect match to the bottle. I drilled holes in the bottle and each of the chimes and then put it all together with stainless steel wire, Swarovski crystals and glass beads. The stainless ensures both strength and durability - all of my pieces can go outside in any weather (although you should bring it indoors during high, sustained winds). We've all had windchimes made with monofilament (fishing line) and become frustrated after they dry rot and break from being exposed to the elements, leaving a pile of pieces on the lawn. This won't break. Just as pretty indoors as out, this would make a perfect gift for a collector of vintage bottles. Very shabby chic!
