Boomer Eyeware Classic Stylish Bifocal Rounders, Reading Glasses for Men & Women, 2.25, Brown

I recently underwent cataract surgery, this year, in fact. My mid-range and distance vision was restored to 20/20 (gratefully). However, my close-up vision remained impaired for reading or working up close on any object, therefore requiring assistance to bring the print, etc, up close to vivid focus. With these bifocal glasses I got the best of both worlds. I have been used to wearing glasses for many years, so that did not present a problem. The bifocal upper lens has absolutely no prescription and allows me to look up from my reading or close work and immediately see with extreme clarity anything in the distance. My prescribed bifocal (diopter of 2.25) is just perfect for reading and all of my close up work. The hinges have springs and stay comfortably in place without sliding. The appearance is great. They are absolutely great for anyone with the description that I wrote above. A great buy as well. I would have paid many times the amount that I paid from Amazon in a commercial optometry shop. SMS

I absolutely adore the bifocal readers!!! I use them for the extra pair of glasses and these are the cutest ones I have found!!! Perfect!

good fit, clear on the top for distance view, bi focal is good. would be nice if they had spring hinges

Very effective and useful. I can work on my computer, and then look at people who are speaking to me without looking through blurry cheaters.

These bifocals are comfortable, but are very large for my face. They would look good on someone with a large face. I kept them because it's nice to have a pair of bifocals for those times when you need to go back and forth between reading and looking to the distance (like when I cook and refer to a recipe).
