Great sponge
Great sponge, I do not do too much porcelain, but it is great for plastic clay bodied stone wear clay.

Crumbled on first use
This sponge began to severely crumble on the first use. I threw one pot on the wheel with Amaco buff clay. No grog, only smooth stoneware clay.I returned immediately after discussing my issue with the owner of a pottery supply store out of town. The owner told me that he had just received an email from Xiem informing them of counterfeit products being sold on Amazon. I purchased the same Xiem sponge from his pottery supply shop and it has been performing perfectly for over 1.5 years.
