DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Although it was a great idea as a gift, and my husband was looking forward to dehydrating meat and fruit, this product stopped working after just a few weeks and now we are having a really difficult time contacting the seller. Each time I've tried to contact the seller I receive an automatic response asking the same question over and over. Then nothing! I have been contacting the seller for a month now and all I have is a broken dehydrator! My advice to you is DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Customer service is so important and their customer service is terrible!

So far so good for function of the dehydrator. One batch of sweet potato and beet chips in and I am very happy with the dehydrator. This thing is BIG. Be sure to take measurements of the place you will use it and store it before buying. It is also heavy. My husband has to move it for me due to the awkward size and weight.Likes: All stainless design for part that touch food (minus the optional tray liners).Dislies: Strong plastic smell in the packaging and strong plastic burning smell in the beginning of use. Door is flimsy and barely perches on the device. Control panel on top back, if you had limited space for storage and use this could be an issue.I wish I had run it for a cycle to dissipate the "hot fan" smell before starting my first batch. The tray liners smell so disgustingly of plastic I am not sure I will ever get them near my food.

Not too heavy duty item I was looking for. The outer frame is just piece of sheet metal and dented in transit. Company was very good about returning over the phone.

This dehydrator arrived much quicker than predicted! So, that was a great bonus! We have a dairy goat farm, and my wife has already used it a couple of times to dehydrate goat's milk in trays. She is very happy with it thus far! It will see a lot of use when the spring garden veggies start ripening!One of the things we especially liked about it is the all-metal shelves (grid-racks). A lot of the dehydrators out there have plastic ones. Recent studies have shown that even BPA-free plastic coming in contact with food raises health concerns and risk. Crawford made a great health and quality choice by going all-metal!

I've had this just over a year and the motor and heating element stopped working I had it full of beef 8 trays I set it to run over night . It started running I went to bed and in the morning I opened it to find the meat was not dry. I lost about $90.00 between the meat and spices. Where can I get a replacement control board with the fan and heater?

I've only used it about a dozen times so far. Every batch of jerky and fruits and veggies has turned out great. I definitely like the commercial size and features.

DO NOT BUY THIS!! When I plugged it in, it did not power on, then after a minute I started to notice a smell of burning, I looked inside and the motor was on fire !!! Luckily I keep a fire extinguisher in every room of my house.This is beyond defective, this is DANGEROUS. I don't know where this is manufactured but I recommend to the seller to review the supplier.I am attaching photos of the item AFTER the fire was extinguished. I will update my review to share how the seller handles this return. 'I do not recommend this product.
