Poor fit and light socket was totally screwed up

I purchased these tail light lens housings to replace the standard OEM lenses on my 1995 Del Sol during a 'remodel' of the car. I chose these because I also purchased the matching Black Euro-style headlights. While the headlights were a fairly good fit, the tail light housings (according to my installation experts) DO NOT FIT THE CAR!What they are referring to is the curvature of the lens does not match the curve of the original equipment. Consequently, even though the 4 bolts went in as they should, either the right side or the left side of the lens housing is going to be sticking out of place as much as a quarter of an inch. So if you are running your hand down the side of your car's rear quarter panel, instead of moving smoothly over the join between the metal of the body and the plastic lens housing, your hand will run into a raised lens housing, which totally screws up the lines of the car. Extremely poor fit.The only way to fix this is to fill in the original bolt holes and redrill the holes a quarter inch to the right. Even then I'm not sure it will work well. The left side will not stick out anymore, but the lens housing still won't follow the natural contour on the top of the bumper, so it's going to look weird And naturalyl, I find this out after the return period has expired.Amazon, I understand why you have return periods, but sometimes (3 times for me in the last year) I have not been able to find defects until after the return period has expired. The curvature problem of this lens housing is designed into their molds... it doesn't warp later. If I had just changed my mind, that would be an acceptable reason for restricting returns but if an item is defective, it was likely defective on day 1 and it's going to always be so...Anyone who has used this product and kept it on their car did a fairly crappy job of 'improving' their car.

I purchased the taillights in July during summer. Once rain fell from the sky in November, the inside of the lens IS WET WITH MUD. I drove it in the rain ONE TIME. When I look closely the seal around the edge does not seal, Moisture goes right in. Amazon will not let me return this because it is past the return window. I am NOT happy, but then again this always happens when you buy automotive products from Amazon. One day I will learn, but today is not that day. PISSED!

Received the item in undamaged box, all there was , was some bubble wrap around the lights no other shipping materials , one lens cracked , one mounting bolt broke off, other one the plastic around edge was broke up. Horrible product / shipping team at their warehouse will not order again
