This is good for beginner loc

I use these everyday; I even keep one in the glovebox for when I'm on the go, it's that good. Best used with a styling product to give it some pop and keep things in place, but I often use it without and it's fine. Doesn't really work as well on wet hair so I'd avoid that. I find myself using the ones with the larger perforations these days, but when the hair is shorter, the smaller one works well. I haven't really found the non-flat side to be that useful though. In use, circular motions work best; when finished, stop, then pull away at a perpendicular angle. You get four in the pack, two with large perforations, two with small. I bought these in May 2023, so I can't speak for longevity, but the two I have in use seem to be handling well at the moment (2023-10). I don't expect it to last forever, it's a sponge and will eventually wear out, but I'd buy again. You don't need to be especially delicate with it in use, but just be aware of the limits of the material; I usually lightly grip the middle area and that seems to work well. I got this pack for under £7, and it's a very good deal. If I were buying again, I think I would try one with some other variations.
