NIV Life Application Study Bible, Third Edition, Personal Size (Hardcover) Hardcover – April 7, 2020

I purchased this study bible to compare notes and scriptures with my CSB study bible, and I am overall pleased with what is in inside this bible. Wonderful notes and essays to read through, and puts plentiful of insight into God’s word. The first one I ordered arrived damaged, but Amazon was very quick to replace it with one that was in flawless condition on arrival.However, the text is much smaller than my other study bible, but that is to be expected for the personal sized version of this bible. But it is still big enough to where I can read it from a certain distance. The hardback version does not come with a ribbon marker, unfortunately. But this can be fixed with a simple bookmark or a piece of paper. (Or those pretty bible tabs, but I am afraid to ruin my bibles with them!)The NIV translation is another favorite. Easy to understand scriptures like the CSB translation does. If you are looking for a great study bible to begin your journey with God, or want to understand his word better, I highly recommend this bible!

This is a study bible, which is great to aid with understanding and yet makes a bit difficult to find the original verses, due to the presence of side explanations notes.Good size for handling, delicate pages and yet sturdy to take the toll.

I needed a small Bible just for Sundays for church. My regular study Bible worn out I use for study at home. Use this every Sunday. I keep it at church. Not for everyday study because pages are fragile and soft but I love it. Great Bible for study very informative.

I liked the size of the Bible. I travel a lot and never know when I am going to need a study bible! It fits perfectly in my suitcase!!!

The notes are very interesting for this bible. This is the personal size hardback (NIV). The text is barely big enough to read on the actual bible. The notes below the bible text is a smaller font that is impossible for me to read on a normal day. Yes, I am 63 and may not have perfect eyesight, but this text is noticeably smaller than newsprint or a normal textbook.I really like the NLT translation better than any other translation. The NIV and the NKJV are my second and third favs. Recommendation: Buy the Tyndale Life application bibles in large print if you are older than 30. Pic shows my local paper vs this bible. Bible text size is a joke.I picked up a normal size hardback and a large print version of the Tyndale bibles on eBay only the large print is actually usable in my view.

I bought two for my kids and I pray it will be a valuable resource for them. The depth of context that is provided opens up the Bible with a true world view.
