Good boots for me!
These boots are great! I ordered a size and a half larger than my shoe size to accommodate thick winter socks and my wide (EEE) feet and the fit is perfect. The side zippers make them easy to get on and take off. The insulation is adequate for my needs and would be sufficient for someone shoveling snow or partaking in a number of shorter-term outdoor winter activities. I don't think these would be adequate for a situation where one needs to wear them for long stretches with a lot of activity. I haven't yet had the opportunity, but I think they would also suffice for an activity such as ice fishing where one is seated for longer periods, but needs a boot that will withstand cold. In other words, they will keep you warm, but I wouldn't expect them to wear well in a more active "duty."

So glad to find these boots for my 13 year old ...
So glad to find these boots for my 13 year old son! It's painful to pay a lot of money for snow boots for kids who are still growing but are in adult sizes and I was so glad to find these at such a great price. These are well made and have a nice thick sole to them. He has only used them a couple of times so far but I have no doubt they will last all through the season, even though he is hard on shoes, and will still be in good shape to hand down when he out grows them. So glad to find a good snow boot at a good price and will probably get these again next year when he has outgrown this pair. It's not worth it to pay a lot of money for boots that I know he's going to out grow, but we had to have a pair that would keep him dry, safe, and warm while he is out playing, sledding, shoveling, hiking, and whatever else in the snow this winter. This pair is perfect.

Economical, Light, Does What I Need
I bought these as an inexpensive, insulated, light weight, light duty boot for standing/sitting in the cold for long periods. A good choice for that role.As at least one other person has written, the boot foot length is short for the size. I wear a 10.5, bought an 11, and found my toes pressing noticeably against the boot toe. I would recommend people buy them a size larger than they otherwise would, unless they they have short feet (or else wide feet, which means they buy larger anyway).I may buy another pair in 12.But they are comfortable, and fine for what I use them for. In this usage I will never wear them out.Watch out for snagging the nylon side pleat in the zipper, it is easy to do, but also easy to avoid if you are aware of the problem.

Warm, reasonably rugged.
I've been very pleasantly pleased with the quality of this boot. It is very warm and has held up quite well. You can slip in and out of the boot quickly and easily. The material is light weight but not fragile. I'm frequently trudging around in ankle deep snow, or temps well below freezing and never been wet or cold in these boots. These are not work boots. They are not rugged enough for daily heavy use, but if you have need for a warm, comfortable boot that is easy to get into and out of, this one will do the job nicely.

These boots are good for light use
These boots are good for light use, such as occasionally shoveling snow from the walk. The zippers are nylon and often don't zip and unzip smoothly. I doubt they will last long. Also, the tread on the bottom of the boots tends to collect snow and pebbles. I've often gotten snow packed under the treads to the point that I'm not walking on the full bottom of the boot. The boot was a bit narrow for me and had an arch support that was painful (I have flat feet). But for all those negatives, these boots do the job for the light use I give them and overall I'm satisfied.

Very good deal
Bought these in a men's 11 for my 12 yr old son. They are lightweight and flexible and very easy to get on an off which is a big bonus for him. The quality seems very very good for the money. I paid $29.99 but noticed some colors and sizes were $99, which I would not have paid for these boots. I was very worried about the sizing from the other reviews. My son wears a 10.5 sneaker and these seem about right with a little extra room. If you need a wide width these are def. not for you, but they were perfect for my son. Will update on waterproofness, etc. once tested.

Easily the most uncomfortable boots I have ever worn.
When I first got them i wore them for almost an hour before I realized they were on the wrong feet. Fixing that did not relieve the pain that these boots caused. It is not that they are necessarily too small, tight, or narrow; it is that they are not made with a proper cut for left and right feet. I generally wear any footwear. I never have a problem other than the fact that my toes are long, and my feet wide. (An irritating combination) So a little discomfort is sometimes expected, and accepted, in the toe area. Not the issue here. These boots felt like someone was trying to bend my foot sideways from the middle! The only good things I can say is that they are waterproof, insulated, and affordable. I do not recommend them to anyone though.

Great Pair of Snow Boots!
I needed snow boots for my son. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, because unfortunately, where we are in Maryland, we don't get a lot of snow. However, he is 11 with a size 11 mens shoe! I sure didn't want to spend $100 on snow boots he would wear a few times a year. These appear to be great quality and will do the job. I am not certain about every day use, but looking over them, they look great to me. It is very rare you can find a pair of mens snow boots, or anything in mens shoes for less than twenty dollars. He has Lands End boots that no longer fit, and these don't look any different than those boots, and they cost almost $100.
