Arrived on time, packed very well. Looks very nice in place. Couldn’t find a guarantee in the box or where to register it so went on to cookology website and registered it there.Hopefully won’t be needed. Nice job.

Very happy (split load, but ok for UK mains supply)
Only been installed for a couple of weeks, so 5 stars for now. Replaces 2 previous glass-topped hobs because glass + heavy cookware = broken glass. This one will be difficult to break. The mains supply cable supports single or two phase connection. UK domestic is 99.9% single phase. This hob requires the 2 x line and 2 x neutral to be commoned into a dedicated (>5500W, >25A@240V) L and N. UK Note: Should be installed by a professional.

Please beware!! 5 core cable supplied...
The product itself seems solid and after installation seems to be working.. for now!!Nowhere in the description does it state that the cable supplied or the terminals on the cooker are suited for a 5 core installation/supply. In my experience I have never come across a UK dwelling that has a 230v/2phase supply. After opening the item and removing the cover I checked and double checked the instructions which gave no indication on how to connect a single phase UK 230v supply. I then proceeded to contact Cookology who were about as much use as a chocolate teapot. They simply forwarded my email query on to the manufacturer (somewhere out of the UK judging by the translation of the instructions), which I am still waiting for a reply, more than 4 weeks down the line.Fortunately, having a number of years as a multi skilled maintenance engineer (Electrically biased) I was able to improvise and is the links from the old cooker which was designed for the UK Market with a standard 3 terminal connection. Luckily the old unit had some jumper bars I was able to adapt to fit. This allowed me to common the 2 live terminals and then also common the 2 neutrals. Maybe I'm being over dramatic but the instructions were useless and so was the support from the helpline. The listing should be clear from the offset as to what you are receiving!! I hope this helps someone who is considering to purchase this item.

Very quick to get to temperature.
I like it's efficiency and it's looks. An absolute bargain. It also looks smart.
