Looks great. Using a pair as speaker stands for front , about 30 lbs speakers. Be aware these are plastic. They are light, and on the plus side wont break like plaster or other materials. Seem stable and well molded and painted. Can not beat the price.

When I opened the carton I was amazed to see an almost exact replica of the Greek columns that graced the huge partenons of early Greek and Roman palaces. This is truly a great product that will also enhance any décor in any room. It is not a heavy column by no means but will accommodate a reasonable object that is not too heavy. I love the sandstone color which amazingly looks great. I placed a marble statue on this pedestal and had no problem. It can withstand heavy urns and small statues without toppling over. But, be cautioned do not over step the product's real strength it can topple over if not balanced properly. The bottom line: I am glad I ordered this item from Emsco Group. Their packaging was very secure and my order arrived safely without any damage.This seller is highly recommended. A++++++++++

A reasonable choice for this price point. I use these outside for gazing balls. For this I drill a hole with a hole saw in the top for the stem of the gazing ball. To keep them steady and from falling over, I mix up some masonry/mortar mix and pour in down into the base... check for level and let it cure.The only negative for this purchase is that the two columns were of a slightly different color. No biggie for me, but if you needed them to match color-wise, it may be an issue.

Perfect for my needs. They have a 3-inch plug in the bottom. Use a pair of plyers to gently pull out the plug and add sand (easily purchased at a big-box store). I used 5 pounds of sand for two of these plastic pillars and it seems sufficient (I split up the sand between the two of them). They look great on my outdoor deck. As someone else noted, if you look closely you can see the seams in the plastic. But I use them outdoors among plants and statuary and I'm probably the only person who will ever notice!

I originally purchased these for my two poinsettia plants but unfortunately the plants didn't make the duration. Instead I put my two Tuscano Dragon statues on them and they looked awesome. I can think of a thousand different uses for these even though they are lightweight. I would recommend making sure you put these on a solid flat surface as they are a lightweight resin so may not be good on carpet or uneven surfaces. But for plants, statuary, etc. these really look like expensive pillars and work well for my Champaign tastes on a beer budget. Definitely recommend.

I thought this would be a good purchase I was wrong and I’m returning it. It’s very light weight plastic and it’s as if they glued 2 halves together and you can see the seams. It’s not put together good. The price should be much lower. It’s nothing like the description, but you can buy it and see for yourself maybe you’ll like it but I didn’t.

It’s cheap and the seams show terribly. I knew I would probably paint it. I bought it to put the flower arrangements on. I started with Krylon ivory and after 3 coats the gray showed through. Then after 48 hours, I tried Rustoleum 2X ivory silk and after 3 more coats, it’s still not great but from a distance OK. It was hard to get the bottom off. I used rocks from Dollar Tree which I left in the bags for weight. It won’t work for my intended purpose which was for the lobby because people will see the seams.
