Having spent much of my life working on ship's ending up as Chief Engineer before moving ashore in the oil industry and air driven tools are common for many reasons, mainly safety. The advantage of an offshore construction ship is that you have enough air to pump up a balloon the size of a football stadium and that's where there is a slight issue.Firstly, you do need an enormous amount of air to run this and few hobby compressors come close to it. Mine is no different but a while back I bought two, converted a 47kg gas bottle and set them up to cascade control. That allows me to use this for long enough to be useful but even then not continuously.Quality is good and in use it does what it's supposed to do. It's a great little die grinder for detail work and small area sanding.Overall, if you have a need for an air driven die grinder this might be a good option to investigate.

I do lots of metal work and have always thought a die grinder would be a useful addition to my toolbox, so jumped at the chance to try one out.What you get arrives in a box, full of various attachments, sanding discs, grinding wheels etc.. also there are a couple of spanners, and an attachment for your air line which needs to be fitted.Unfortunately it was not compatible with the quick release fittings I use so I had to rob one from another tool to fit.There are no instructions provided, just an A4 sheet with a parts list on it. No further contact details are provided either.In use it is very good. My compressor is an old Tiger 9/50, and it did struggle to keep it fed with air. Not a huge problem for me as I don't plan to be using it all day, but bear in mind you need a decent compressor to use this tool a lot.With a sanding disc attached it made short work of cleaning up an old bit of steel replete with plasma cut hole.My big issue is the cost. At currently nearly £43 it is right at the high end of the market for this type of tool yet does not present itself as such. For that price I would expect a case to keep it and it's attachments in, maybe a couple of different tails to suit different air hoses, and certainly an instruction book and warranty details etc..For that reason I cannot realistically give it more than an average rating.

I think that this angle grinder is a really good piece of kit it’s really easy to use and comesWith small grits and polishing tools I think it’s quite powerful and good value for money.

Ich benutze diesen Schleifer hauptsächlich für Karosseriearbeiten.Durch seine kompakte Form kommt man auch in verwinkelte Ecken um zBsp. Schweißnähte zu beschleifen.Die Qualität ist gut und er tut was er soll.Man sollte jedoch darauf achten das man einen Wasserabscheider und einen Öler hinterm Kompressor hat um das Gerät dauerhaft ohne Schäden zu betreiben.Meiner bekommt ab und zu zusätzlich ein Paar Tropfen Öl hinten rein .Kann man Empfehlen
