I bought this to see what it was like, and didn't really have high hopes for it. It was a little smaller than I was expecting (I didn't measure it!), but a great size for a card. We were painting Christmas cards at my art class so I took this paper with me. I was really, really happy with the results, and my teacher gave me a gold star for my efforts. The shimmer is quite subtle, which I like, but gives it a lovely finish. As I used the wet in wet technique, the paper did buckle a little but I am still happy with it, and will buy again.

Great for painting with acrylics and watercolours

This watercolour paper (hot) is super smooth and was lovely for wet in dry watercolour. It’s a subtle sparkle rather than a glitter. If you’re looking for a different watercolour paper , give this a try.

I bought 2 packs to use for quick Christmas cards, thinking it doesn't matter if it isn't brilliant for more intricate work.I was so shocked by the quality of the paper, originally thinking a quick wet on dry, but now doing a lot of wet in wet work and very happy with the results.Unfortunately the glitter is so subtle that it doesn't show up at all on any of the photos I have taken so far but it is there and does show through the darker green of the trees but not the brown of the house.Please excuse the unfinished painting, I knew as soon as I put the white gouache on, there was even less chance of catching any sign of the glitter.Brilliant paper that I will be ordering again when I get low on paper.

On the surface this paper looks lovely, a slight glitter effect yet it’s beautiful and smooth, it’s a heavy weight paper but it doesn’t feel like 300gsm, it feels more like 160gsm. But still I was looking forward to using my watercolours on it …. How disappointed I was, I have copier card that buckles less! Cannot be used wet on wet. I’ll have to try to stretch it to see if that helps ☹️

J’adore ce papier j’étais septique, mais une fois reçu et testé je doit dire que je le trouve super.. je vous le recommande.
