It seems the recycled plasic is used.One leg found broken.

Helped us get remove echo for our youtube videos
Our use case was a bit different; we boom our mic from the top for our youtube videos. And the issue was that we were getting echo in voice. When we mounted the mic under this tool it was able to remove all echo ( like 95% ) and now the audio is clean and sound way better. If you don't want to invest in echo proofing the whole room then booming the mic with this tool might be the perfect way to get echo free audio.
