It’s pricey but it works
I read the reviews before I purchased and was skeptical. However I did purchase this and tried it and it did make a huge difference. I shake kept me full for longer and also boosted my protein intake I’ve noticed results and plan to stick to this. The flavor is so good too I always crave this in the morning.

Lean, Mean Protein Powder Machine
Every year, I go through phases of bulking - cutting - bulking - cutting, and Mdrive's lean protein powder worked wonders for the cutting phase of my cyclic workout regime in many ways, with 1 downside:PRO's- Orange and chocolate flavored?! Yes but Mdrive Lean managed to create a delicious taste of the combo that was sensational! It's like having an orange smoothie but without the added calories, plus, the powder itself blended so well in my shaker that there was no residual left at the bottom.- The ingredients are packed full of essential ingredients for cutting fat: Blood red orange extract contains Morosil and has been shown in several studies to decrease fat storage and weight gain (there's a ton of that in this protein powder), Chromium supports cholesterol health and metabolizes carbohydrates rapidly, and the high quality whey protein insures lean muscle already developed will remain where it is.- ONLY 1 GRAM OF TOTAL SUGARS! That's the lowest I've ever seen in a lean protein and the fact that it is refined sugar-free and 100% all natural is enough to make me want to run an extra mile!- This easily was the most digestible lean protein I've ever consumed - no bloated feeling afterwards or gassy feeling (this is honest review lol). I was able to go about the rest of my day not feeling like I was dragging to and from meetings at work.CON's- I hate to deduct 1 star but the price tag is a bit high and when you do the math, it roughly cost $2.13 for 1 serving of this lean protein powder. Compared to whey protein isolate, which is normally the highest priced protein on the market, Mdrive Lean surpasses that cost.

Needs work....
I've been doing low carb for some time now.Two of the "go to" ingredients used in Keto and Low carb to give texture, body, and mouth feel to baked goods and sauces are guar gum and xanthan gum.I have ruined many a good sauce by using too much xanthan gum. What happens is it gives a thick texture, but blunts the flavor of the sauce. At least, that's my experience. So I was pretty thrilled to see this chocolate/blood orange protein powder. There is chocolate. There is chocolate orange.andThere is chocolate raspberry.Three of my favorites. So here's what I did:I had just found a "no sugar" (lactose and whatever other) sugar removed whole milk (yay, finally real milk without the carbs instead of almond or coconut (etc) "milks").8 ounces of the new whole milk, one scoop of this into the blender, then into a tupperware cup in a cold bag.I was on my way to do a lap swim workout and errands after that, so the plan was to have this in between the swim and the errands. Not what happened. When I opened the tupperware, what stared me in the face was a thick, gelatinous mass, not resembling what I thought I would be drinking.I took it home, tasted it and yes, there's a faint taste of orange and a faint taste of chocolate.Neither strong enough for my palate. I added some cocoa powder, and a sugar free white chocolatetorani type syrup (DaVinci brand) still the flavor was swallowed up by the xanthan gum.I will probably try this again, maybe with the usual almond or coconut milk or maybe water. If I have a better result taste and texture wise, I'll update this review. One possibility I can see myself using this for, after being seriously doctored for flavor is a faux gelato.I stuck the stuff I couldn't drink into a flat container and into the freezer; stirred it every 15 or 20 minutesuntil it was a sort of gelato texture; that was the only way I could choke the stuff down.I wish I could say better things about this.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision.(I rarely give an overall 5 star rating).

Great protein powder and weight loss product
I have used boost and burn for some time now, but was just introduced to Lean. I take every morning as a source of protein and immediately saw the difference. Definitely aids with protein to support my workouts, but I can also fell the difference with my weight loss. Helps with my workouts to burn fat and build muscle. Will be a continued source of my daily diet. I drink with either cranberry juice or orange juice.

Misses the mark
I really wanted to like the product. The blood orange flavor was really unique and although it’s not for everyone, I like that it was different from the usual chocolate-like flavors out there. The reason for the two stars is how texturally off the end product was. For a flavor that was really on point and nailed it on the head, I was very… put off by the texture. Even the powder smells good and sets you up to expect something great but the texture just makes me wonder what happened. Looking at the list of ingredients I cannot figure out why but the texture is almost like phlegm or mucous-like. I suppose it was a sign when I read about losing weight and not one of the suggestions were reducing caloric intake… huge red flag there
