Compact, satisfying, secure
Hands down best battery storage, keeps the batteries super secure yet it’s easy/satisfying to pop one out. A pilot told me he used them to keep batteries in his flight bag, they’re also good for tossing in camping bags or what-have-you. Much more compact than clunky oversized battery boxes.

Very pleased.
It holds the batteries securely, but it is easy to remove them when needed. The plastic seems to be a very high quality. Well worth the money.

Great for organizing and protecting your cells
I purchased this to protect my lithium AAs. Since those cells remain stable for so long, I can drop a dozen into this caddy and put it into long-term storage. Much better than just throwing a handful of batteries into a ziploc bag, and better than storing the cells in the original packaging with some tape over the cardboard to keep them from falling out. This is compact, durable, and it is very easy to tell how many cells are left. It is designed in such a way that the batteries stay in the caddies and are wholly prevented from creating a circuit with each other's contacts. I have Storacell caddies for AA, AAA, C, CR123A, 9v, and 18650 cells and will continue to purchase more as I need them. Whenever I give someone a gift that uses batteries, I will include an extra set in one of the caddies as a sort of added bonus, it adds a lot to the presentation. Broadly speaking, unless you need your battery caddy to be sealed against moisture or dust, this is the way to go.

Clever Design, Heavy-Duty, Made in USA. You'll Love These!
I just ordered several versions of the Storacell battery caddies, including AA, AAA, C, D, 9-Volt and the larger multi-format cell caddies. You might think it's hard to get too excited about a piece of plastic, but I'll tell you why I like these: 1) Well made, heavy-gauge thermoplastic — I don't worry about them breaking after repeated use; 2) Variety of color options, although I ordered bright orange ones so they stand out in a drawer; 3) The cell locking mechanism is simple yet it's easy to slide the battery out when you want it. Clearly the dimensions are just right so it's easy to insert, hard to fall out, and easy to remove when you need it; 4) It appears you can insert the battery either way, so the design is fool-proof; 5) Made in the USA. Hurray! I'll gladly pay a premium for a USA-made product, especially when the quality is built-in from the outset. The only downside is the markup from Amazon handling costs, which is why I purchased the "add-on" option versions which were nearly half the price of the standard "Prime Shipping" versions. The challenge for all low-cost products is that the stocking, pick/pack, and shipping costs are often more than the value of the product itself. I would like to see multi-packs of 5 or 10, which potentially could be sold more economically on a per-unit basis. That said, these are nice battery holders and I'm buying more!

Storacell 12 Pack Battery Caddy -- Perfect!
I have added video to supplement written review -- check it out -- thank you. No audio, your speakers are fine. In December of 2012 I was still on the prowl for battery storage -- especially portable battery storage for backpacking etc. . . . when I found and bought these Bluecell items (see the link): B007OSD9UO Three of the Bluecell battery storage cases locked together holds 12 AA or 15 AAA batteries and weighs in at 1.1 ounce without batteries. Bluecell are more secure and lock together. I bought them in clear, blue, pink and green for color coding. Bluecell's are fine for home storage and short trips however not the complete answer for my needs and wants. My Bluecell review and video is available on this page: http://www.amazon.com/Bluecell-Clear-Purple-Battery-Storage/product-reviews/B005NESDDY/ref=cm_cr_pr_btm_link_5?ie=UTF8&pageNumber=5&showViewpoints=0&sortBy=byRankDescending Googling, Youtubing and plethora searches later I uncovered a diamond "Storacell by Powerpax". I received my second purchase today (01.01.2014) of the Storacell by Powerpax AA battery caddy which holds twelve (12) batteries. The Storacell by Powerpax is compact, lightweight at 1.3 ounces (without batteries inserted), durable, attractive, easy to use and color code, and secure. Storacell is actually smaller requiring less storage space compared to the provided link. Storacell is likely as minimum as one can get for secure battery storage. I bought 1 Black Slim Line AAA Holds 6, 2 Orange, 1 Green AA holds 12 each, and 1 Orange which holds 1 9V, 8 AA, 4 AAA. I would really like to acquire an AAA that holds 12 like its big brother for AAs which they must not fabricate as I've been unable to locate one. Storacell by Powerpax caddies do NOT have sharp edges, they will not catch or pluck anything when retrieving from a pocket, backpack, or luggage etc. . . . . Because batteries can be inserted in either direction you can elect a system that works for you. It allows you to carry active and expired batteries in same caddy. Example: All batteries active positive end inserted first, when spent negative end can be inserted first so you realize it needs tossing or recharging depending on whether you use Alkaline or rechargeables. I personally use eneloop rechargeables which are amazing batteries. Being somewhat anal retentive, OCD I use a Brother P-Touch labeling my batteries with information like: date of purchase, initial charge, mAh. I was a little concerned prior to purchase Storacell by Powerpax caddies may cause label removal. I have NOT experienced an issue because of my labeling. The eneloop batteries slide in/out normally. Granted I have only had this item in hand for several hours now but playing around with it I see no foreseeable problems. PROS: Small Compact Durable Light Weight Strong Solid Feel Portable No Sharp Edges Plethora Color Selection One Hand Ease of Use Reasonable Pricing Insert Batteries are Secure Protection from Terminal End(s) Damage CONS: Batteries have little movement when insert (does NOT bother me though) AAA Battery Caddy NOT available to hold 12 (Manufacture PLEASE make some) NONE that would offer reason not to buy Storacell by Powerpax Battery Caddies. PRICE: I want to address price on these Storacell caddies as some believe are overly priced. I would likely have thought same if S&H were not gratis when ordering. However, pricing and free shipping is a good deal, a very good deal. As Storacell caddies should out live me with some reasonable care. I do not have a tendency to loose items either. Would it be nice if price was lower -- certainly --. Each person will buy based on his/her own preference, buy in quantity for their battery stock normally kept on hand. The seller doesn't get to ship items out for free, the difference must be made up elsewhere -- generally hidden in the price. Good Value In the End. I highly recommend Storacell by Powerpax Battery Caddies. As rare as it may be I'm unleashing FIVE STARS as Storacell is definitely a must buy. DIGITAL SIGNATURE I prefer to close my reviews with a "THANK YOU" because I do appreciate you investing your precious time in reading my material. We live in a complex complicated world where time is at a premium. I do pray you found this review like my others informative and helpful in aiding your next purchasing decision. Your comments are always welcome and I make every attempt to reply to comments as time permits. Again "THANK YOU" for this opportunity to aid you in spending your hard earned money wisely. I am not employed or receive any compensation by the manufacture or any organization promoting this product or additional hardware. I purchased or received as a gift my product like anyone else, sharing my myriad thoughts and experience with you. Whether it is five (5) stars or five (5) eggs I rarely give the maximum as there is always room for improvement; whether or not it is true, I believe manufactures work harder to achieve that maximum rating. I hereby extend to you a plethora of blessing of good health and welling being. Bless you all. 2014 Copyrighted by Dr. Gary Drury HAPPY NEW YEAR'S 2014!

Great battery holders
Great product. It stores and holds the batteries perfectly. I can't wait to try their other battery holders. I highly recommend these products.

Los mejores portapilas, solo tienen un defecto: aprietan un poco para meterlas y sacarlas y eso hace que pelen algunas pilas

Parfait pour ne plus avoir de pille qui se balade

This product seems rugged enough to be built for life. The design is ingenious, the cells fit in perfectly and make a satisfying click when they are in place. They don't accidentally come out even when you shake the caddy, but removing cells when you need them is extremely easy. Rarely do you find something that's just perfect in all aspects. It's expensive for what it is but well worth the price when you consider how long it should last. I even ordered a caddy for AAA cells after I got this one and realized how awesome it was.
