The remote controller does not control any music control functions, can’t skip songs or adjust volume. The helmet itself is very comfortable and the works like I wanted, just not the controller

I chose the Livall MT1 Neo Smart Helmet over the Sena M1 helmet for two reasons. One, the fit, for me was better, and two, the internal speakers sounded better to me. On the side, the Sena helmet, I believe feels a bit more robust in its construction overall. Had it been more comfortable, I might have chosen it.In any cases both have red LED lights in the back. For me, neither were so bright that they help visibility much in the bright sunshine, but the Livall helmet lights flash in patterns you can set from the smart phone app.Finally, the Livall helmet has a feature integrated into the helmet that will send a signal to your smart phone to call 911 is you have a serious fall or accident and are unable to respond.So far the battery has performed well. I have read some complaints about the battery failing early in some cases, but there is a way to reset the battery in the instructions that may help with that issue.

I really loved everything about this helmet - the fit, the style, the bluetooth to make and receive calls, the group app to talk with your other riding buddies, the SOS feature, EVERYTHING! But it didn't have MIPS technology, which is necessary for new riders like me (and experienced riders as well), so I had to return it. But the MINUTE this company adds MIPS to this helmet - I'll be the first in line!!!

Great helmet. Good fit and lights up well. Upgraded magnetic charging connector is much easier than previous models.

I adore this helmet. The speakers are decent, and the mic is alright as long as it isn't super windy or you're on a busy road. But mostly I just love that I can listen to my music, still hear traffic, and have blinkers. There's a huge difference riding with blinkers. Drivers give me more space and pass me more confidently when they can tell where I want to go. There's a noticeable difference if my battery dies in the middle of my ride. Drivers will get closer to me and are a lot more nervous to pass me, and having a car hang out in your blind spot is more nerve wracking than them passing me. I also love that you can't tell how awesome this helmet is when it isn't on, because it doesn't look like it has lights or speakers, so i don't have to worry about anyone stealing it since it looks like a regular helmet. I'd absolutely buy this helmet again. I will say that i have a tiny head and it adjusts down to my head great. But my husband has a giant head and it's a little tight on him.

It was nice that they have a light that flashes in the back but it’s not bright at all in the daylight.The feature I purchased these helmets for was the ability to communicate with a group of riders, well the capability is dismal. I was able to communicate with my wife but my wife could not communicate with me. If your phone times our (the screen blacks out) you can’t communicate with the group or anyone so now you have to fish your phone out or fiddle with it on the handle bar to wake it up and sign back into your phone to get it to work. And I have the buttons on my handlebar to talk but it would not work. Very disappointed in the technology that it’s based on having a phone and it being on and with the app open.I do not recommend these helmet’s

I am confident drivers are more award of my presence when I use my turn signals and hand signals together. I definitely have more room to turn. Battery is fine, although I have a short commute, but I charge it at the end of the day for peace of mind. It has many functions that I love: great security features: back light and turn signal, it adds possibility to listen to music or podcasts when cycling without isolating you from the surrounding sounds, Very impressed with ability to answer phone call, when switched off the unit looks like any normal bicycle helmet which does not attract anyone to steal it when left hanging on the handlebar. I must say I am "in love" with this helmet. I have ridden with this helmet on three separate rides in the last four days. Two rides I had to ride in complete darkness. The helmet not only illuminates but makes me feel so much safer since I have the extra layer of visibility. Also I am very pleased with how comfortable the helmet is and how easy it is to adjust. I have always traditionally worn another major branded helmet that is sold in bike shops and sports stores; and I must say as far as aerodynamics, comfort, and safety, the helmet either meets or exceeds the competition. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

This is my second LIVALL helmet. The first one saved my head in a crash last week. I love the ease of connection to my phone. Music and voices are crisp and clear. The lights on the back give me a sense of security and are highly visible. I really love these helmets.Edit: the power on button breaks easily. It makes turning it on difficult as you’ll need something to push a level deeper in the helmet. :( this also happened on my old helmet.

very comfortable to wear and very clever to use, with Bluetooth connection to my phone I can play music while I ride along and also answer a call , but I would advise pulling over to do so riding on London roads is stressful enough as it is and doing that while on the phone is to much for me but at least I don`t have to get my phone from my rucksack now to answer the call.another point is the built in lights in the rear of the helmet and built in indicators that work via a remote on the handlebars , of course these are no replacement for a good strong hand signal but they are added safety in bad light and along with the flashing beacon lights this improves visibility, there is also a radio feature that means if you have others with you with the same type of helmet you can talk to them like a kind of intercom , but I generally ride on my own to workHad this a while now and still finding it very comfortable to wear , it has attracted a few comments from other riders I have come across and they are impressed with it as well, might be a few extra orders there (do I get commission??)overall a very nice and comfortable helmetUpdateDid'nt last as long as I had hoped, the adjuster on the back has broken an as a result I cannot adjust it any more , luckily I kept my old helmet in the shed and I am using that again, £140 quid I would have hoped for at least a years use , I contacted Livall about 3 weeks ago but they have not been bothered to answer my enquiry , I have superglued the adjuster thingy now so at least I can use it again

This is a great piece of kit. Simply as a helmet it feels good - well fitting and sturdy. Add the rear lights and the brilliant indicator function and it’s looking even better. Then there’s the Bluetooth connection to your phone so you can listen to music on the move or receive phone calls completely hands free - genius!At first it feels a bit “attention seeking” but if you think about it that’s exactly what you want to stay safe. And with 20 quid off the rrp it’s irresistible.

I was quite surprised by how light the helmet was when it first arrived, seeing as it has several functions within the helmet, I had an expectation of it being bulky and heavy in which I was proved wrong. It's very comfortable on the head as it's very light and fits rather nicely. Even though, there are many functions to the helmet, it's easy to grasp a hold of the controls and understand how it works. I had ordered this in the red and black in which I really like.
