Warms up fast
I have a lounge living room in one, so the room is quite big, but this little heater warms it up quite quickly. The only things I don’t like is the smell every time I turn it on and the tiny little on and off slider switch. The switch is quite low down too on the heater, so hard for someone that has a bad back if it’s on the floor.

Great product (so far)
It's early days, I've only had this thing an hour, but currently I can say I like the look, I like the design and it blasts out the heat. If it breaks down in a week I'll have to write another review, but so far I am pleased with the purchase.

Just unbelievable
This product is a heat transformer.. i thought it would be bad because it doesn’t have a fan. But no, it is super brilliant.

Probably much like other similar looking heaters - but with Brand name back up.
On registering this for the second year warranty, I found that RussellHobbs has its own UK based support site and online shop. Both are worth a visit before buying. The support site was able to explain how the "frost protection" works (which is not explained in the manual - basically if it is plugged in, frost protection is on irrespective of the timer, the thermostat or the power switches)It is a surprisingly light weight unit but feels reasonably well made with firm switch gear that hopefully will last. The legs have to be screwed on (3 screws each) and it is here that I have slight doubts about the robustness. If in moving it around you give a leg a good bang, the screw fittings may pull lose. The cable length is too short; if the manual is going to tell you to keep a 1m clear zone around it (which seems excessive to me) you want a cable a bit longer than the 1.45m supplied. (If your power point is behind a settee or table - maintaining the 1m clearance is a touch difficult - especially given the cable is attached at one end of the 67.5cm long heater).
