CASEOLOGY by Spigen Vault Back Cover Case for iPhone 13 (TPU | Matte Black | Rugged Sandstone Textured)

The cover has a nice grainy texture, so it’s super easy to hold and grip. It doesn’t make the phone heavy or bulky at all, and the fit is spot on. Looks awesome too! Honestly, best back cover I’ve bought so far.

Solid cover with excellent quality

After going through a number of phone cases for my iPhone 13, I stumbled upon Caseology, a subsidiary of Spigen - a prominent name in the smartphone accessory market.When it comes to smartphone cases, my requirement is simple. The case should be good at protecting the phone, it should look good, and the price should be justified. Upon looking at this case for the first time, I was ascertained that it was what I needed and so I ordered it from Amazon.Luckily, it was delivered to me the very next day and I, as an excited customer, immediately tore open the Amazon packaging and got a first glance of the phone case. It looked good. The packaging was of premium quality and the case looked even better out of the box. Till date (has been around 2 years), the case fits well on the phone and I have not found a better alternative to it, not even from Caseology (lol).Here are the goods and the bads that I have observed so far.Goods:• The case is good at protection. I have dropped my phone a few times and thanks to this smartphone case, it has not suffered any damage so far. ✅• It is a premium, good looking case with a nice textured (sandstone-like) back that reminds me of my old OnePlus One. ✅• It has grips at the sides that aid you in holding your phone with confidence. ✅Bads:• Even though there are grips on the sides, it would have been great had they been more rubbery. The tend to slip at times and that is slightly annoying at times. ❌• The inside of the case, where the phone’s back lies, has a 3D textured finish and it leaves a mark on the back of the phone. I find myself constantly removing the case and wiping it as the impression that leaves does not look good. ❌• The phone does not fit firmly in the case. Caseology should consider adjusting the case for a snug fit. ❌Overall, it is a good smartphone case and I really like what Caseology is doing. If they address the aforementioned issues with their cases then I am pretty sure that it would even outsell Spigen.Kudos!

Grippy and nice looking

I’ve been a Caseology fanboy for some time now. I’ve been using the Vault case for my Airpods Pro and when i saw the same Vault case available for the iPhone 13, it was a no brainer for me to order one.The case itself was good to touch and was quite sturdy.l and grippy. However, the quality was abysmal. There were stains both on the inside and outside of the case. As if it was lying in a pool of water somewhere. You don’t expect this when you buy a case for ₹100 let alone for ₹1000. Caseology need to seriously check their storage and QC process. DISAPPOINTED!Edit- it does also scratch the aluminium casing of the phone.
