I was delighted with this Extension Lead, which I wanted to be something more than a cheap and effective utility item, since it was going in my bedroom just over a dressing table. I specifically chose this one because it was one of the few with a left cable exit, rather than the common right exit, so it could drop down behind my wardrobe. Rather than the standard "keyhole" wall fixings, this has screws which go through the device, with plastic caps which conceal the screw heads, and mean it is very securely fastened to the wall. I could have done without the red lights, but I won't be using this for phone charging or other devices left on overnight, so it's not a big problem. The basic instructions were written by someone who's first language was not English. It's better to throw them away rather than trying to understand them, since anyone who has fixed anything to a wall can fix this.Overall, a very good buy, attractive and good value for money if you want a superior device, rather than bog standard.

Solid and well made. The 3m cable length (...there are other lengths) was ideal for the intended use.And rawl plugs and screws included - just in case you might need them. A nice touch!

Great for extra plugs and safety, bought for Xmas lights etc, great value.

Used in a small home studio , works well, I tend to leave all the switches on so didn't strictly need individual switches on the extension sockets but I know if I ever repurpose the extension lead elsewhere switches can be very handy. Good price.

It is good to look at, easy to mount securely, the individual switches make it very safe to use and the number of sockets are ideal for concentrating all the cables & wires into one section of the room to make a neat job. Highly recommended.

A really well designed extension lead with all the necessary features and then some nice extras! Build quality is better than average with the ability to fix it with two screws it from the front making it easier to fit than hanging it on screws that need to accurately positioned. It has surge protection to prevent damage to your expensive equipment, though it doesn't appear to have a GREEN light as stated in the description but DOES have a reset switch should an overload occur; the sockets are protected with safety shutters and are all switched. It appears that you cannot insert a plug while the socket is switched ON, as its much easier to plug in when switched OFF. I don't know if this is intended, but if so, it's a nice extra safety feature to have. The only negative thing I can say is that if anything the mains lead at 3 metres was a bit too long for my purposes and cannot shortened without totally dismantling the unit or cutting off the existing plug, shortening the cable, and putting a new plug on - neither of I would recommend on safety grounds. I got round this by using cable clips to fix the excess cable around the TV and equipment unit. Now everything is tidy with only one cable leading to the wall socket and my wife is made up that the tangle of wires has disappeared! Reason enough to buy this! Definitely would recommend!

Excellent wall mountable extension lead with added surge protection. Very easy to mount as you screw though the unit in pre made holes instead of trying to hook the extension lead on screws like some over designs.
