MAHLE KL 596 Fuel Filter

The fittings are slightly different than the OEm filter, but made figment easier. Grab a pair of clamp removers from NAPA, and a tool to pull off the plastic rivets

This one fits to my 2013 Q7 TDI. Somewhere between 2013/2014, Audi USA changes 3.0 TDI fuel filter from "cartridge" style to this "in-line" style filter. Just open the hod and check, if see filter with part-number: 8K0127400, 8K0127400A, 8K0127400C or 8T0127401A, then it will be safe to replace it by this one.

Direct replacement for my 2914 Audi A6 3.0 TDI. This is the filter that goes under the car. Some newer 2014's have the filter in the engine bay, make sure you know where the filter is located before purchasing, they are 2 different filters. Filter looked exactly like the Audi part it replaced. Mahle is generally a direct replacement for Audi. I use them for all my filters(air, oil, cabin, now fuel) and they haven't let me down yet.

Fits my tdi 2014 A6

Is shouldn't take more than 10 min to replace. I use a syringe and fill it up with diesel before installation, so it doesn't need fuel pump adaptation – engine start first shot without any problem. Take the car on a short drive and seems to be more responsive – no wonder considering the dirt that came out of the old filter – see picture. Car only have 36k miles.

Llevo comprándo exactamente el mismo ya años. Y genial. Compatible con audi a4 avant b8 de 2012. Recomiendo cambiarlo obligatoriamente todos los años. El coste es muy pequeño y merece la pena.
