Excellent Cables
I've ordered 5 of these so far and plan to order 3 more. So far they've gone in several Mac Pro 1,1, 2,1, and 3,1 machines, and each time there have been no problems. Typically I am installing Radeon HD 5770s, but I've also used this with Radeon X1900XT cards and Nvidia 8800GT cards. They work seamlessly with at least 3 models of Mac Pro and every graphics card with which I've used. them. For $5, what more could you ask for?

Needed this for my 2009 Nahalem Mac Pro to be able to install a GTX 670. Worked perfectly along with the additional cable I had from a previous Radeon HD 5770 GPU.

Does what it should
I got it to hook up extra power for a Radeon 5870 in my Mac Pro 3,1 since the original 8800 GT only came with one power cable. Everything works fine.Update: I just upgraded to a nVidia GTX 670. The cable is shorter than the stock Apple cable and is not quite long enough to reach cards that have their power input on the top of the card instead of the back edge like the 5870. The Apple cable will reach as long as I am in the top 16x slot, but this cable will not.

Perfect for a 2009 Mac Pro
Worked perfectly in a 2009 Mac Pro. I was able to install a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 graphics card without any problems. The cable is a good quality and not to thin. You will need 2 of these cables for this card.

Mini PCIe cable for a Mac Pro Early 2008 Radeon 5870
I used two of these to power an ATI Radeon 5870 video card placed inside a Mac Pro early 2008. The cables attached to the motherboard on the left side (if looking at the motherboard with it standing upright), next to the plastic slot holder that looks something like this [OOOO]. This is important because I couldn't find where to plug it in at first and was worried. It's best to plugin these cables first and then insert the video card at an angle. I hope this helps someone else.

It's a cable
Nothing to add. It's a cable. Either it works or it doesn't. The price is right. Lots of sellers will try to nab an extra $10-$20 for this cheapo item. Stay away from them. They're not selling you anything you can't get cheaper everywhere else on the planet.

Works as advertised.
Works as advertised. My new graphics card required 2 of these and the price was right.

Great cable, good luck with fruitco hardware
Great cable. Works perfectly in an old machine. Beware though if you plan to use this to power a gfx card upgrade you are at the whim of whatever the fruitco bios and hardware locks will let you install. There is no rhyme or reason to what cards will work and what won’t. But this cable works!
