3m wrap is of good quality. This looks nothing like real carbon tho. See attached image. It is a pattern of squares printed in black film. It has zero depth and very little gloss/shine. It would look crap next to the real carbon parts on my car.

After the repeated flakiness of vehicle wrap "professionals" here in my city (none could do the work in a timely manner) , I gave up on them and decided to do it myself. I seriously don't understand how shops can charge so much to apply hood wraps - this material makes it EASY !! I wrapped my van hood in just under an hour - including several concave & curvy areas and it turned out absolutely perfectly. Cost me less than 1/3 what the shops wanted. I had so much fun doing now I want to wrap everything... LOL

I wrapped the crash bar cover, and support rods,lower core support and lower splitter.Im a vinyl wrapping novice and this product was fairly easy to use. Be patient and using a heat gunIs a must. Be careful when pulling this film. It has a tendency to unzip or tear with the weave pattern.So in short very good product its a little thick but moderately easy to use.But everything has its limitations.Time will tell on durability.

First time ever wrapping something. This vinyl did a great job of going around edges of this vehicle trim piece, however I do have one issue. I think that the adhesive could be vastly improved as it wasn't hard to peel it up around edges which gives me concerns about longevity. We will see!
