Q: What is the difference between this one and RTG20220AB? Can I buy this instead of RTG20220AB?

There is no actual difference, those are for use with a water heater, I recently purchased the Webstone 44443WPR to install a Tankless Water Heater, works fine.

Yes, there is NPT female threading at both ends on the 44443WPR, that require male NPT for connection.

I am not all that familiar with this tankless heater but would assume it works the same as all others and the valve should work great. Not it is for maintainence of the the heater. The heat exchanger will get covered with minerals from the water over time and cuts down on the efficiency of the unit. This valve system simplifies the hookup of a pump in a bucket of white vinegar which you them hook up and ciruculate through the heat exchanger for approximately 45 minutes. note you put the pump in a 5 gal bucket of vinegar. install a water hose between the pump and the inlet connection of the heater. use another hose to connect to the outlet connection of the heater and run to to the bucket so it will be reciruculated as noted above 45 minutes

Q: Hi. is this compatible with ecosmart tankless models ?

This Webstone Isolation valve set will work with most all tankless water heaters that have a 3/4" NPT connection, but if not then you can just get a 1/2" - 3/4" adapter at any hardware store to connect it. GlobalTowne is an authorized Webstone distributor.
